I wonder if canon been derailed
Plan Coalition does do that? It has us spend two actions on learning protego, which seems to be a much more useful spell for general use and in particular the dueling club.[X] Plan All Work and Play
We need to keep learning spells if we want to keep up with both the dueling club and anything else that might pop up.
Guys, we need to learn spells for Dueling Club and get to work on the mandatory spells and potions. Not the elective classes and attempts at getting everything to the soft caps at the end of the year. Seriously, we still have seven more months after this vote to train our skills and attributes. So how about instead of ditching and forgetting about the end of year exams stuff, we try learning some of them instead?
You know what I see when I read that? I see 'We will not be able to finish those spells in time' when I read that. Because the more we focus on 'getting better rolls' the less time we have to actually try getting those spells.Because doing this will make the future rolls on them more efficient?

1 point higher mod will not change things majorly for the 100 DCs. What you want, the point where skill training actually has a much bigger impact on ours rolls, is so far ahead of us, we should ignore it, otherwise we end up in a situation where there's no time left, because you're trying to get us to 11+ in skill level. Because every vote it'll be 'Oh but if we increase the skill now instead of later it'll make rolls even more efficient' in a never ending cycle. Seriously, we have good odds of getting through the 50 DC spells right now.Except we have pretty much already decided what point we should reach before investing on them, and we will reach it mostly within this turn.
