Warcraft: The Gurubashi Restoration

I'm going with them being thoroughly devolved storm giants. Landwalkers, as Sea Giants are pretty obviously their own thing and are fully amphibious with mainstay in aquatic living. Wear a semblance of clothing and such, but are nothing like the more civilized, larger, magically powerful, fully clothed storm giants. Yet, still have it in their split brains to vaguely remember monarchy/royalty stuff.

If you look at the pictures, one of the brains of the ettin usually seems pretty...uh...not there, but enough to bother the other head. Two-headed ogre have both heads being fully intelligent and well linked. I'd say the latter is the result of natural evolution/stabilized mutation, while ettin are just straight devolved creatures.
actually in the lore it goes Grond->Colossals->Magnaron->Gronn->Ogron->Ogres->Orcs in terms of devolution. No Ettins involved anywhere in that.

Ogres only gain two heads when they utilize magic, it does not matter the type of magic used though Arcane and other 'purer' magics AKA more orderly have the brains work together as one mind whereas Fel and other such chaotic magics have the heads work as 2 different minds.

but ya two head ogres are to regular ogres what Night Elves are to Dark Trolls.

I'm...not saying ettin are in the ogre line? I'm saying they explicitly aren't, because someone else said that there was a weird idea that they were.

I know that ogres get two heads with magic.

Makes sense. Maybe their origins are not unlike the first humans, weak offspring of vrykul who placed them in a far off land away from parents so they could grow on their own.

However in this case like said they are much more devolved compared to Storm Giants and other giants even general, losing lots of intelligence alongside size and power. Still technically giants, but its like comparing Sky Titans to their inbred descendants in WHF.

Fuck it, go for broke. We can afford the loss for a turn or two.

Edit: Nvm, we better win this fight with Hakkar.

Just remember we must wait at least 1 more turn before we can march. Bacause next turn we have all of our martial actions locked up for 1 turn.
thats fine we have a stewardship action we can use to get more food.

Yea, if that is the case, best we conserve now before offering full.
we can't change our offer dude....

ehhhh I am pretty sure we have a few already and even if we don't they are mostly underground so the bat riders won't be quite as useful.
well first it depends on if the Temple has sunken yet, so we might have to fight them outside and even inside that can be useful as some of those hallways and rooms are very big

Like said, we are waiting for military actions currently in progress to finish during results of next turn. We can take the whole arm up animals action for open military slot and then march the turn after next, assuming we would start near beginning of the year.

Here is another nice lore video, relevant since talks about Gurubashi a good deal, and further explains how trolls are kinda screwed over in Warcraft if they aren't a part of one of the two major factions.

It'd be nice if there were more powerful factions in WoW, maybe not equal to Alliance and Horde by themselves but strong enough to influence world politics. Pandaria is kinda like that, but also isn't.

You'd think being one of the first species to evolve after the Titans terraformed the world, making huge empire and beating back multiple world ending threats would give trolls more cred and importance... but nope!
