I'm uncertain about my choices over the wider vote, in part because I don't know if my marker to Conjured Blade holds through consolidation, but I do know I would be horrifically salty if we don't hit that 7 Arete break point for our reward.

I want Azure Moon, or some other shiney magic out of this, Hunger deserves a rewared equal to the risk he took, and in proportion to the rings suffering over ages untold.

As I have been saying safe and cheap with an extra 2 Arete to spare. With Oops the Soup's 1 Arete and either the Ruler and Vassal or Subordination resulting in at least 10 Arete(with a possible 3 Arete discount!) plus whatever we generate this update towards an actual EFB that we are going to get. Compare that to Eminence my most hated option. It banks 9 Arete towards the Ruling Ring without doing anything at all for the 24-25 Arete Evening Sky EFB before it. Avenger also mitigates Azure's Hatefulness in case you're going for non-Let It Rest option.

Rihaku's eloquent arguments convinced me that Ruler & Vassal is an acceptable choice.
 
I would be wary that our pick as to how to treat the Azure ring may have... consequences when the time comes to get Ruling Ring.

I suspect the kinder the pick the more likely we won't be utterly thrashed if we end up proccing something far stronger than us.

Can't we just let the being who has been tortured for ten thousand years get some rest? I'm fine with not being "efficient" for now if it means it's hate is massively reduced. We will likely have to deal with that fact in the future should we not choose to have it rest now. Plus Preeminence is the least wasteful of the build and can afford to make this long term sacrifice. It'd prefer to have it quelled now, thanks.
 
If you guys are looking to complete Trinity ASAP, Avenger + (Ruler or Subordination) is the vote for you! Avenger only spends 7 Arete, leaving you 2 Arete up. Combined with Oops, the Soup and Subordination you could have up to 8 more Arete from the outcome of this vote as compared to the profligate options!

nah, we've been told the Azure Ring would seek Subordination in this situation; if we lose to another Ring, our mercy here will not buy us mercy there, that's not how Rings work.

Might as well get proper use out of that ring... also soup sounds pretty good right now, so I've waffled there as well.

This level of indecisiveness isn't even close to my full power...!

I like Hunger being kind and happy. Ruler... I guess I could live with it. But I, too, want to transcend the endless rivalry.
For the sake of a caring universe. Let us be the sort of people who will make it care, when the time comes.

That would imply that Rings operate with such mercy. Remember that Rihaku said that if our fortunes are reversed Crimson would be Subordinated by them. And that does not mean the Ringbearer is not a power hungry person...

The sad thing is as Mission Control, she sounds like a prime suspect to be in on the hit against Letrizia. Perhaps that plushy will end up adorning her tomb.
