What are you talking about? Are you referring to the Hatefulness contamination? That can be mitigated by some of the options and its been confirmed that strong will and mastery of magic can help too with that. Are you saying that the Azure is going to betray us? Isn't this the natural form of relationship between the rings?
The strongest argument against The Avenger is that it people would start arguing and rules-lawyering every single update about whether our current enemy has "severely wronged either (Hunger) or one of his kin". People would intentionally vote for options that would increase the likelyhood of Avenger activating. "We should father lots of kin and then throw them into dangerous situations."
Blood Price sounds kinda cool, it make me think of the Furies and how they punish oathbreakers, kinslayers, and the like, but given how things are going I place 0 value in unlocking more EFBs.

I'm a bit surprised how quickly the vote has turned in Blade's favor... mechanically the options are all the same as previously, and Avenger is nothing more than you guys voted for with Avenger + Treachery anyway, so why the change of heart?

Ruler and Vassal is way better then Let it Rest, but does not come with any downside like Subordination does. It's far and away the best choice. Now if only I could bring myself to actually vote for it...

Meanness aside, this consolidation emphasizes that Blade isn't much riskier than Avenger, a fact which was dropped in the thread until after Avenger had gained lots of steam last update, which is what shifted my vote... twice, lol. I'm a bit baffled by the degree, still.

I'd been under the impression that Blade was much lower-power than it seems to be. I figured that since we can only have 2 stances and both GDS and WeDS are useful here, HDS was pretty marginal at most. Since it's not, I'm happy to vote for it!
No what I mean is instead of arguing why Avenger itself is bad, you are saying things about those who would vote for it.
You can see when the tally was last run in the posts, the one Taka put up was run about 15 minutes before the post it's in, so there's a gap of votes it didn't catch.

Something fairly important to consider is that the range of options offered may be substantially different for Let it Rest vs Ruler & Vassal - 7 Arete being a key breakpoint and all! There may be options that exist only in the 7 Arete slot which aren't available if you only have visibility of benefits up to 5 Arete.
Plus, Hunger does not really have such fine-grained control over circumstance as to affect the world in such a manner, though we can't rule out that changing down the line...

To expand on this, you are saying that if Avenger wins that some voters will start treating Letrizia and Gisenna as fodders for Avenger procs. I will respect you're against just don't say we will become suddenly different people if it wins. Its purpose is a counterattack against those we haven't wronged or screwed over.
