[X] Vacation

We're in no shape to be risking a fight by going to the Encampment or healing Verschlengorge immediately. Time to just chill out for a while.

[X] The Ring of Power - Dominion

Finally.

Domain war should apply to the fishing contest, so it's an obvious pick as well.

Ironically, I think that Passion is much more likely to proc than War, here. How often do we see Hunger actually get excited about anything?

He's basically a Fishing Enthusiast, and nothing else.

[ ] Slack Off - It feels unnatural, but perhaps the best option is to focus intensely on rest and recuperation. In this as in all things, execution makes the result.
Hunger now has +++++++Willpower, and he's going to use every last iota of will to relax even that which cannot be relaxed!

Or not, he might go fishing instead.

Hunger just got beat up, and ought to...
Fish for compliments.

Letrizia is entering the battlefield, sadly for her some scurrilous under the table alliances are holding her back.

[X] The Ring of Power - Dominion - 2 Arete

-[X] Passion

I might well change this later, but this is actually a scenario in which Passion is pretty great.

Actually just remembered it might be possible to get inheritor from other outriders. Still hope!

Fellow Ring voters! While Dominion: War, is cool, I would like to ask if Passion is rarer than War! If so, would it not make more sense to take Passion now, and get Dominion: War from a relatively more common opponent?

If he was fishing by himself passion would be appropriate, but this is a competition, one with enemies, therefore war is the correct choice.

Edit: The enemies are both the fish and the other fishermen.

Are you fucking kidding me? Is the pull of memes so strong that you guys actually want to risk dying because of a Devastating Condition for the sake of fucking fish?

Just wait three days, holy Christ.

Hey, do you guys want to hear an interesting fact??? It turns out that competitions...have rules! Which we can't follow! And will never, ever follow!

Literally the thread's last build vote has locked us out of fishing competitions being a good idea. Ever.

If we're the most powerful person there then we can decide what the rules of the fishing contest will be, and everyone else will follow them.

I dunno, after people constantly spamming a misspelling of sword so often as vote justification, the meme option seems less appealing to me for some reason.

Either or Passion or War should apply to the fishing contest and this gets us back on the road of building toward Ruling Ring. We're wiser now, with the benefit of hindsight surely we won't make the same mistakes as last time? Also, we sent the merchants to prepare food for Letrizia, so we should at least swing by and pick it up. With Gisena's upgrades I don't think there's that much risk, our reputation must be absolutely terrifying by now. We've killed Outriders and slain an Inner Resident. Less time expended, pick progress, effectively discounts Dominion by one Arete.

Hey guys here's my argument for-

-sees update-
