We don't really have much information about the different areas. If one of them had a nuclear reactor or one area had a bomb dropped on it, I think Charlie would go there because of the radiation.

I'm currently torn between going South (because Charlie could be attracted by other Ghouls coming from Detroit) or East (because with the radioactive rain the lake should practically glow).

I should note, the lake is actually much further away than the search radius, i just figured i would list those "Towards X" locations so people could better figure out where they are if they decided to look at a map of detroit.

So yeah, just wanted to explain that, they wont actually get particularly close to the lake on this run.

Maybe i should have gone with the less obvious but far more likely to actually be encountered land mark.

I'm also fairly sure that the series in general gives a pretty negative light toward trying to resurrect the old world in general. Even the NCR, one of the more 'good' options, is still given a little frowny face sticker next to that particular bullet point iirc.

Whats dead should stay dead. We can steal and loot its pockets but we shouldn't try to pick it back up. Its one reason I like the little cultural identity that we've been piecing together, like the make up, burning corpses (swear I remember this), and the beginings of a working community with guards, skilled workers, and general labourers all working together.
