In the end, Muscle Wizardry has fallen. Perhaps not within Nameless' life time, but the doom comes to all eventually. Truly, the vengeance of the Fates is mighty enough to reach across threads and smack the objectively most red vote down before it even has a chance to bloom.
 
Gisena honestly didn't have all that much to do with Seram, he rezzed and interrogated her, she built him a toilet, then they went to court. After that they didn't interact much. Of his orc murder buddies, she's sitting at probably 4th place?

You have to admit though, that dragon fight scene was pretty sick.

I don't think Seram got that many scenes with Gisena. There was really just the one update that focused on them and then some interactions mixed into a few other updates. Some might say she's tragically underexplored!

She still has far more exposure than just the blurb Catherine has though. If Gisena counts as underexplored, Catherine barely exists yet.

I don't agree with the premise that a new character is inherently better in the first place, I was just noting that Gisena doesn't have much of a connection to readers either.

He did get Imperia lap pillows in the aftermath, so I suppose it was worth the trouble.

Neither do I, or at least in an objective sense; I do want to read about new characters. But I do still think Gisena has an advantage becuase we got to see her actual personality in a direct way instead of just having described to us, and she already had a whole thing in AST with her Orc-king fueled nihilism, which is more depth than can be acquired in a blurb. And I do still think getting a character that already has a connection with the world we are in would be more interesting narratively.
 
Maybe Gisena's cooking could be used to train poison immunity or something?

If the accursed offered me the deal I'd take Vengeance. Then probably the doom of the tyrant and the Plenary brand since I could live with those. I'd take the Regalia with extra time travel to not die, seven seals,the holiday remmitance and the talon and Gisena. Immortality and limitless power with free dimensional travel is nothing to scoff at.
 
Assuming relevant Omakes/Reactions for this vote start at Teach me Eyepatch Sensei and BraininAJars Reaction afterwards, Things look like this from a word count angle. King of Sorcerors voters who are primarily in it for the Seals may want to consider switching to Twice Great.

It starts at Nature of Magic with a decay function, but don't bother manually counting it for this vote. It would be too troublesome for you to get a non-misleading number now that there are two confounding variables (subjective quality and decay).

Alas, the path of Muscle Wizardry has no room for the irresolute! Anything less than overwhelming support and it may be that the option would have rejected you guys!!

So in a sense, isn't it better to have rejected it first!?
 
Given that Cut Off The Head comes with a general improvement in competence and that, if we have Hunger, it will do a lot more to increase our power level than the alternative, I'm switching that part of my vote

I imagine each omake is assigned an objective value, perhaps equal to the LRs or BPs generated, and that value equals the omake power. Perhaps omake power and fanworks are equivalent to extra weighing for votes, perhaps in EFB it would have been something like Vote Multiplier = 1+BP/10
 
Well fuck. Hopefully we get a second consolidation so that I actually know what to vote for. I very much want Luna Conqueror to lose, but as I'm not quite sure how Rihaku will be interpreting/deciding this vote I'm not sure if I should be voting for King Of Sorcerers or Twice Great. The former is my preference so I'll leave my vote there, hopefully it makes a comeback, because I'd really rather get its layers of curse mitigation to remove the biggest problems we'll be having as a Cursebearer. Additionally, Twice Great is far enough behind Luna Conqueror that I'm not sure it'll catch up enough for omake/reactions to tip the scale its way, just gonna hope King of Sorcerers gets enough votes.
 
Guys we have the opportunity here to be a mentor to a giant robot pilot. What a storied history, we could be the Kamina to her Simon!

Maybe she'll even be unwilling to pilot it! What little kid hasn't seen Evangelion and hoped to one day force someone to pilot a robot against their will?
 
Hmm. Currently, those who want Accretion have the privilege of consolidating behind one option, while Seals is split between two votes. Twice-born has the omake power to contest Luna, but lacks votes. King has the votes, but far less omake power. It seems a compromise is in order.

In the spirit of this thread, I am willing to buy votes to make Twice-born the winner. Tag me and change your vote to Twice-born, and I will owe you a vote, and will argue for the options you want. Even if twice-born gets eliminated, I will vote for King if asked. I'd like to buy as many votes as possible this way, but absent any sharing deals, it's first come first serve.
