[X] Gather the crew and have the Haki book read aloud. Garp can help explain the training methods. Encourage brainstorming on how to practice.

@RavensDagger do you mean sail up Reverse Mountain on the Bast or is that a wacky option and you actually mean climbing?

[X] Read about Haki.

Just... just imagine the chaos. The sheer incredulity and panic of the WG if it comes out that Garp, The Hero, has 'joined' Pirates.

...I'd imagine it would shatter what little faith some people already have in the WG, if they didn't try to spin it in some way of him being a) blackmailed or b) controlled by a devil fruit.

I truly wonder how many more people it would inspire to turn to piracy, how it would kill marine recruitment, and just how many may desert. It's one step short of Roger's inspirational speech that drove this new age of pirates.

Think of poor Sengoku's headaches, paperwork, and reactions.

That's if they even find out in the first place, or heaven forbid Garp actually joins the crew.

Tashigi, their other new temporary crew member, was splitting her time between sulking, ignoring Sanji's... Sanjiness and snapping to attention whenever Garp so much as scratched at his nose.
Amusingly I can imagine the last bit happening literally.
Taylor grinned and got back to her feet to rejoin the frey. It was beautiful, in a way. Garp was probably the most proficient hand to hand fighter she had ever seen, coupled with his superhuman... everything, and he was a formidable opponent; and yet he was still able to hold back enough to meet every challenge at just the right level to draw out the fighting and teach a lesson to anyone willing to look for it.
Garp for all his absurdness seems to have come by in naturally, and is actually a pretty good teacher as long as you don't mind hell training. It doesn't even seem like he causes student deaths either for all that it looks like he should.
Because of a special action, all crew members have increased their Endurance by one rank!
@RavensDagger Did Taylor gain multiple ranks then? I feel like she should have since she was actually investing the time as well as just the special action. (Also that's kind of the hope in general from training with someone vastly better in both skills we were training.)

II wonder how Garp feels about Queenie. Does he not remember? Is he worries? Or has he just accepted that the world of OP is an odd, odd place where mysteries and monsters lurk around every corner.

The only reason Luffy survived was sheer dumb luck...which could also be attested to the Will of D.
You can give that excuse for Luffy, but his theoretically primary job among the marines (as insane as it sounds) is trainer.

Koby and Helmeppo are some of the products of that. He made quality fighters out of people that were physically probably weaker than Taylor.

Those poor bastards. They are going to be glad that Garp took this vacation. No more getting thrown in the jungle, middle of the sea or an jungle island with horrors in the middle of the sea.

Group story time, group story time, group story time! Woo!

Though I'm kind of worried that channeling her mother is going to be an AP round to Taylor's current trend of repressing all the Gold Morning/can't go home again stuff in her head.

Huh, so we didn't actually learn any haki this time? Sad, but understandable since it buffed everyone up, including luffy.
