[X] Haki: Armament
[X] Physicality: Endurance
[X] Crew: Monkey D. Garp

I am sticking to the plan of shoring up Taylor's weakness in Physicality and getting them all to at least E rank so that we can be on par with even the weakest member of the Strawhats in terms of strength, (namely Usopp and Nami).

After that, I am inclined to go from there and go for skills that allow us to fill a role or niche within the Strawhat crew.

Kind of disappointed that the Garp vote won despite having less than half the votes. Anyway, might as well take advantage of it.

I like the idea of Taylor just standing there glaring at Garp trying to get him to do what she wants 😁. Also, raw overwhelming power might be hard to beat, but skill will help survival until she can reach a decent level of physical fitness

Edit: Also, Garp might be one of the few who we both have access to, and who can teach us how to control our conquerors Haki better.

Love that fucking laugh. She can bond with Killer over it and masks!

The crew now understands the nuclear option that is throwing Queenie at the problem. Good.

Yeah but it was a write in vote. A lot of authors give write in votes a handicap as write ins tend to get lesser votes by default from voters not seeing it.

So a write in vote has more weight because people who aren't paying attention to discussion might not have noticed it?

That's a flimsy reason to override the majority vote.

How a QM runs their quest is ultimately up to them, but there is a common expectation that the majority vote will generally be fulfilled. If the QM overrides that then a specific reason is usually provided, such as weight or substance of argument.

Even then, doing so more than sparingly risks undermining the idea that the players actually make the decisions for the character in a quest.

Gardening. Garp. I rest my case.
I'm imagining these fine folk just sitting around, talking loudly at plants. That makes them grow, right? (Also these are two things we're better than him at, which I find hilarious.)

Can we argue that Luffy is an idiot and we're really bounty hunters? We liberated 3 settlements (Buggy Pirates, Arlong Pirates, Black Cat Pirates), took down Don Krieg's crew and are currently employed to transport a sort of noble to her estates.

I'm shure Garp and Luffy will be resonable of we just explain the situation. Sure of it, nothing can go wrong.

Let's spend some time with Queenie...

Yes. I am going to keep voting to spend some time with Queenie until we do. We've been neglecting our BEST FRIEND for a while now!

Hell training from Garp should be worth some sort of bonus. Should try to benefit from his experience and skill while he's here. (Normally I always vote for Queenie, but Garp is a limited time offer.)

That update was terribly funny. Luffy saying to toss him overboard was too much. Though Garp saying he'd buy Luffy's friends a new ship was just as good.

Luffy and Nami gaining stats from this island seems a little weird to me given we were only there like twelve hours, and there really weren't any life defining moments. Zoro gaining a rank in navigation is even worse considering Taylor was the one leading him around the whole time.

Mind now I'm imagining that at some point Zoro starts following the directions of bugs without any thought whatsoever. Then ends up distant enough from Taylor that the bugs aren't under her control, leading to him ending up even more lost than usual and later complaining about her bad directions.

The problem with your argumentation is that the majority vote wasn't overridden. We got what the majority wanted and in addition a write in that had a sizeable number of voters behind it. Why exactly are you complaining about getting more than what you were promised?
Edit: Imped by author.
