Medb looked at you in the eye as she held on to you. Fear and longing mixed in her gaze as she held you tight. If you were to struggle she wouldn't let go. You had that much effect on her already? In just these couple of weeks, you managed to reach this level with someone as great as her?

And now she was asking you something she wouldn't have for anyone else. It displayed the deep trust she had for you and how much she saw in you. She looked so vulnerable and defenseless, a side she was only willing to show to you.

You reached out for her face and watched her close her eyes. But instead of caressing her cheeks, you reinforced your fingers.

BANG

"Guk!" Medb cried out as her head jerked back.

"Hell no," you barked as Rider rubbed her forehead.

"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?!" Medb screamed at you as she held her forehead.

"Bitch please, your skull is thick enough to compete with Jeanne's Noble Phantasm, you stupid Warmongering Queen," you snapped back as you crossed your arms.

"I am not stupid! Why is it that you don't have tact now?!" Medb groaned as she held her head.

"Because what you're asking me is fucking stupid," you growled as you jabbed your finger in her direction, "Are you honestly asking me to burn a seal for this at this stage?"

"It's an insurance, you imbecile!" Rider hissed as she clenched her fist.

"Well I'm not doing it," you snarled right back.

"Do it!" Medb snapped right back.

"Hell fucking no and no amount of whining will make me," you retorted with a venomous tone, "You're taking the easy way out, Medb. It's time you grew up and stopped running from your problems."

"Oh that's fucking rich coming from you, you absolute moron," Rider hissed as she turned to face you, "At least tell me why!"

"Because I know you can be stronger than this. Yes, you can fuck up, you can be scared, you might even let me die but at least give it an honest shot before asking for the literal mind control juice to stop you," You spat as you held your side and felt your command seals burn, "Put effort into bettering yourself without the Command Seal crutch!"

"And I'm telling you I can't! I just can't! Not without your orders! At least give me the security of knowing it's there!" Rider yelled back at you, "This is for your own good too!"

"You'd think I'm the sort of person who'll do that to someone I care about?! I'm not so helpless as to leave you hanging like this!" You yelled right back as you grabbed her shoulders, "You're not alone! I'm right here! Whatever it is you're feeling, I'm right here with you. So if you need a shoulder to cry on or just someone who can piss you off so you can vent, I'm right here because I won't leave you! You're all I have! And it fucking sucks seeing you like this!"

Rider fell silent as tears slid down her cheeks. She looked at you before you pulled her in for a hug. You held her tight and closed your eyes.

So soft and warm...

"It's okay to ask for help. If there's something you can't do, we can do it together. We're stuck together, aren't we, buddy?" You told her as she buried her face in your shoulder, "I'll help you and I won't think less of you for that."

Rider stopped trembling and sighed before she gently pushed herself away, "I'll just freeze up again."

"Then I'll just slap you," you shrugged as you tilted your head.

Medb stared at you before frowning, "You'd dare slap a Queen?"

"Yeah. What are you going to do about?" You dared her.

"I'll kiss you," the pink haired Servant threatened you with menace in her tone. That didn't match her words at all, "Servants don't need to breathe."

You took a step back as you raised your hands, "Wow that is one dark implication there or are you just happy to see m-"

Rider tackled you into the snow making you look up at her. Her lush pink hair fell over you as she pinned you down.

"You're absolutely the worst Master ever," Rider said as she touched your face, "Making me feel this miserable all the time. You should be spoiling me, indulging me, loving me but you just made it your mission to make me this annoyed everyday... But thanks. Thanks for listening to me complain."

"Well you are my partner. It's the least that I could do," you assured her as you tried gently pushing her off, "Now get off, you're heavy."

Rider smirked as she pulled you by your jacket and moved to kiss you.

A flag landed beside you two making you freeze. You and Medb turned to the right to see Jeanne standing nearby as she was brimming with magical energy.

"Well, well, well... What do we have here. Oh don't mind me, I'm just looking for a couple of children in need of discipline," Ruler said as she pulled her flag out of the ground and tapped it on her hand... Menacingly.

Rider blinked at her before she started sweating. Oh boy. She's going to do it. She's going to say something stupid.
