[X] Interfere. Help them. Help her.

"Yeah, I know, this is a "bruh" move, but look at it this way- better to die by the hands of a Not!Cu than some pretty blond dude in white and his bullshit constellation-aligning magic, yeah?"

If I may. I propose a write-in.

[X] step forward and call out to her, you want to understand.

[X] "Stupid Medb! No hugs and kisses for you tonight!"

Fujimaru thought when Chaldea went up in mostly-smoke that he'd have to fight a war in time-distortion singularities alone.

Instead, he must deal with Crack Singularities and Joke Servants right up until the final battle. Eight. Times. Over.

Can we not joke vote this? Especially since this we are witnessing a fight between those trying to save the world, and those who seek to rule it. This fight isn't a joke and shouldn't be treated as such.

Also, it is very clear that this is a Medb, not our Medb. However, that doesn't mean we don't already understand her. Something like
[X] step forward and call out to her, you want to understand.
is just... what is there even to understand? Why she's being cruel and capricious? Why she's working with Cu Alter? We already know that the Medb that Brie loves is completely capable of everything that's going on. There's nothing to understand.

I'm gonna second "no joke votes" here, as for my own write-in, the idea is more to try to find exactly what the hell is going on. Could probably be worded better though.

Excuse me, but I can and will treat it as a joke at every opportunity. Until there are any indications that FGO main plot has any relevance to us, I choose to believe that these shitty dreams about Medb-chan indulging in her fetishes are the result of an inter-dimensional bleedthrough and serve no purpose other than give Brie nightmares on top of her already stressful daytime.

So I laugh at them. I fucking laugh at them until Cu Alter starts laughing with me, or so help me I'm finding a way to get his Caladbolg and ram it up his ass. Sideways.

Also, didn't this Medb and Cu Alter kind of try to kill us? Why are people voting to help her regardless? Is this some, "even if you try to kill me, I'll keep loving you" position? So if Medb tried to kill us (and we survived which would be hard) and not only was unapologetic, but would probably do it again... would people still vote to help her against her enemies who we have nothing against?

Yeah this is like you're watching a person risk their life to save another person, and you just start laughing maniacally at the scene. It's at best incredibly poor taste and at worst is insulting to everyone present.

Edit: Also, Cu Alter doesn't have a sense of humor.

Yeah, I know. Refer to article two about Caladbolg.

That's just who I am. I find overwrought drama not immediately relevant to me, but shown to me all the same, to be distasteful and worthy to be laughed at.

These Medb and Cu Chulainn are not our friends, enemies, relatives, anything. The same goes to Gudako and her Servants.
Even if we wanted to help any of them, we can't, because we're in another dimension, participating in a knockoff Grail War. Their hopes and dreams mean nothing particular to me. I mean, good luck to Gudako, she looks handsome, but that's about it.

So yeah, I choose to implicate this Medb to be having a relationship with a human who looks exactly like Ritsuka for no other reason than to score a few cheap laughs at all of their expenses. You may disagree with me, but that's my chosen course of action.

Eh. Well, fair enough. I obviously don't agree with you, but just as obviously you are completely entitled to having an opinion not the same as mine.

Hopefully my words have helped stop a potential joke vote bandwagon though. Joke votes have fucked over a surprising number of quests (okay, I doubt this one would do anything in particular, but it's the principle of the matter).

When situation is immediately serious to the protagonist or their survival, I feel largely the same.

This, however, is a question about our feelings towards this situation, or so I believe. Do we help Medb because she's Medb, like we do in the waking world? Do help her enemies instead?

I choose to tell this Medb she's sleeping in the doghouse tonight, just to treasure the stupid WTF expression she's bound to have at least for a few seconds after this.

I'm a simple person, I have simple needs.

I mean, if you've got a problem with the presentation of the narrative, then Impstar's not the person to be talking to. Plus we do know what this is: It's Medb's memories. This is the Servant Dream-Sharing IIRC, we brought the last one up and Medb vaguely hinted that they memories she shouldn't have access to. In other words, F/GO's American Singularity did get recorded into the Throne Of Heroes' Medb Saint Graph. Normally, those kind of shenanigans get locked away, not even accessible under F/GO's handwave of 'they remember the other continuities but as if another person lived them'. But because we're the Specialiest Special To Ever Special, we're not counted under that.

Now, if you're like Impstar and think that's important and worth taking seriously, that's fine. It's a perfectly valid conclusion to draw given the impossible circumstances. That said, this is a Servant Dream. Worst we have happen to us is just wake back up. We're loosing any potential information or insight into Medb or other servants, but there's probably not any long-term consequences.

Are you guys behaving here? Is everything okay?
Just confusion over the purpose of the Servant Dream being FGO's events. Or maybe Raiseth thinks it's a bit too much ham and so is shitposting.

Nah, I'm fine with the Dream Cycle and Rabbit's choices with it. Imagine having to sleep through Medb sleeping her way through all the Irish Heroes, all of them. ( except Cu Chulainn)

But. We have no stake in FGO, and we're already stressed out and probably dying. So I refuse to take shit from Dream Medb and her sidekick Cu Throne.

Do you guys want me to change things a bit? I can always change the dream to be not this if you want.

Well, given the two viewpoints involved, it seems the question is not what they want, but whether the desired impact and understanding you want is being delivered. Given the predominance is to not explore the dream and treat it as having zero worth digging into, I'd say that if this was supposed to be a bit more of a difficult decision... that it hasn't quite worked out. Because while Raiseth's shitposting because the dream "means nothing", it's also been taken as good reason to just nope out of the dream. And to me that begs the question of why it even happened.

Hey,
There totally are people who want to dig into the Dream and understand it.

Just not me.

Well, that's about all I have to say on this topic.

Oh wait.

Vote, citizens!
Vote for me and my platform!
So that Medb realizes!
That no matter the dimension!
Not even in our dreams!
Is she getting any of that delicious, delicious Brie cheese.
