With how Scathach word it, this feels less and less like a FGO Bond raising event and more like some kind of shonen, by-the-power-of-friendship shenanigans that makes Pokemon or Persona work.

So the main family sent forth a emotionless doll to compete in the war and kill a family traitor but had her compatibility summon their servant rather then using a catalyst?

Was Medb a good match for a emotionless automaton?

Also the first directive was to survive - not go kill her pseudo brother nor win the actual war. Makes me wonder what the main family is playing at.

Considering that first directive was from after her brother scrambled her and tossed her into a bounded field (just before we took control) it's possible that her true first directive was lost and that was simply whatever came up to replace it.

I actually want to see if we can talk about what we are with Ruler. Slightly stuffy holy woman or not, she might have some insight for us
