Well, if you can't hurt them all that badly with magic, you'll use the next best thing. Possibly. Under a given definition.
...It's something that will actually reliably deal damage, and at this point, that's more or less what you're looking for. And you don't think you'll actually need to summon a Persona to do this, so it's better if you Channel- it'll save time that would otherwise be spent bringing out your Evoker.
You strike just as the pink Shadows approach, not caring about the pain it causes you so much as what it does to the opponent.
Though, admittedly, what it does the opponent is pretty impressive, the hand nearest to you taking the attack and flying into the nearest wall. It slumps to the ground, dazed and unmoving.
Keeping your momentum, you attack the next one in the same way, and it too flies into the wall. If this were happening to people who were on your side, you'd be somewhat concerned. As it is, this is probably the most incredible thing you've ever accomplished with your powers. You don't even hesitate before attacking the last one, and watching it be propelled by a force so much smaller than it is.
Weaknesses are no joke. If you're not careful, even the slightest brush with one will knock you down.
The rapid-fired attacks leave you gasping for breath for a moment, but you manage to steady yourself with your spear, and you don't think anyone actually notices. "Come on, they're wide open!" You call, and the others follow you.
You aren't entirely sure whose efforts defeat which Shadows, but you can safely say that, once you realized just how easy it was to knock them over, they never stood a chance.
"That... was a lot easier than I thought it would be," Takeba-san admits, before she manages to get a good look at you. "Oh, Amada-kun, are you all right? You look sort of..."
"It's fine." You cut her off before she can worry too much. "My attacks just... take a lot out of me, that's all."
She doesn't seem entirely happy with your answer. "Well, don't do that so much, okay? Here, I'll heal you..." For once, she doesn't seem apprehensive at all about summoning Io. She just... does, and casts the spell.
I think that's called motivation.
You immediately feel a lot better than you did before, to the point where just about everything comes easily to you. It doesn't feel like a perfect fix, but... it should do well enough for the time being.
Akihiko-san activates the teleporter, and Koromaru helps push the unopened briefcases onto it. They vanish in a flash of light, because of course they do, and you can hear Mitsuru-san groaning in the back of your head, even if she doesn't actually say anything.
"So, are we going back? Or are we continuing?" You ask Takeba-san, glancing in the direction of the stairs.
"I don't know..." She admits. "Are any of you getting tired?"
You are, a little, but not in a way that would keep you from moving on, given the chance. "I'll be fine." You aren't actually sure if you will, but if she wants to keep going... you're not going to be the one to hold her back.
(I feel like I should tell you not to continue if you start feeling tired, but...) Mitsuru-san pauses, and while her next thoughts aren't audible to you, you're sure that there's something important she's thinking about. (...It might be best if you hurry to the sixteenth floor.) That just might be one of the most ominous things you've ever heard from her that didn't have any sort of detail to them.
And while you're still not entirely used to the experience of climbing Tartarus yet, you understand enough about this tower to understand that your Navigator sounding ominous while trying to tell you something can never be a good thing.
Takeba-san, however, doesn't seem to see anything wrong with that. "All right. We'll aim for floor sixteen." Just six more floors of this... you're sure you can handle it.
Still, you think you might want to take it easy for the next set of floors.
[ ] So you'll focus on healing anyone who needs it and not do anything else.
[ ] If you find enough items, you could have them do your job for you!
[ ] Or, alternatively, you could just try and climb as quickly as possible.
