[x] Focus on defeating more Shadows. Takeba-san needs combat experience, after all.

That... went a lot faster than I was expecting.
Turns out, having a, probably, elemental advantage and an evolved Persona makes you kind of dangerous

Anyways, as stated, with a dog being the strongest among us, we may as well try to grab a level or two for ourself, make some progress towards leveling Akihiko, and getting Yukari her needed levels.

Also also, may I suggest training our spells so we can have Multi-Target Bless Spells? Cuz eventually, Mahama will be very useful. Especially to Bless Weak enemies.

The First Campaign- Part 3
Emboldened by the fact that the birds really didn't stand a chance against your group, you spend the next set of floors looking around for Shadows to defeat, and pointing them out to the others whenever you see them.

...Sure, the way you point them out is generally with a helpful bolt of lightning or flash of light, but that's not really the point here. Once you get the Shadows' attention, the others generally finish the job.

At one point, you encounter another beetle like the ones that came out the window that one night. After Takeba-san acts, it turns out that they're weak to wind.

That would have been good to know a while ago, maybe. Or maybe it wouldn't really matter, since this is the first time you've seen Takeba-san throw Garu spells around in... ever, really. Though, given her resistance to that same element, maybe you should have expected it.
Though even that doesn't explain the fact that Yosuke-san is fireproof.
...As much as you can really expect anything, when you have no idea of the kinds of things that will happen next.

On the ninth floor, you don't see any Shadows, but you do see a large number of silver briefcases. Mitsuru-san orders you all to find the stairs as quickly as you possibly can, which you do.

Generally speaking, if Mitsuru-san sounds like she's on the verge of panic, it's probably a very good idea to listen to her.

Of course, even with that, Takeba-san still pauses to grab some of the briefcases. You're assuming that she's going to open them later. Or maybe look to see if they're actually silver.

Not that you can imagine her being able to find a good way to sell them, or anything.

(...You're going to have to empty those out before we go back,) Mitsuru-san reminds her. (I can't fit all of those on my motorcycle.) You think that's maybe not the best reason she could be using, but at the same time, you wouldn't want to carry all of those, either.

Though you still wonder how even things like swords can fit in there. Those aren't exactly large briefcases.

Either way, that matters a lot less once you step onto the tenth floor.

From your first view, it looks just like the fifth. That is... probably something you should take as some sort of warning.

(There are three Shadows on this level.) You aren't surprised to hear Mitsuru-san's voice, or the words she's saying. Maybe floors like this are just something you'll have to get used to. (They seem to greatly resist magic attacks, but other than that, I can't get a clear picture.)

"Then I guess we should avoid using magic," Takeba-san decides. "...Well, healing might be important, I guess..."

This is more of a warning about anything that you had last time. There's also a chance that this might be more of a challenge, but given how not everyone even got to act last time, that's not exactly saying much.

This time, you don't see the Shadows until you're halfway down the hall, now faced with a trio of larger versions of the hands from the previous floors. Which also happen to be pink.

...You know these things could kill you if you don't take it seriously, but you're finding that really hard to do right now.

Haven't really tried it yet, plus it'll deal Physical damage anyways.

[X] Attack

Accuracy is sadness. But god help them if we land a hit. They're the boss shadows weak to Piercing right?

[X] Attack
-[X] With Card Scalpel

I like the concept of Card Scalpel, but we never seem to use it. :(

[X] Skills
-[X] Channeled Cruel Attack

Strike, got it. Time to strike with Cruel Attack. Assuming Akihiko and Koromaru don't double team to death them.

We don't have any Channelling Tricks for Cruel Attack, and given it consumes HP... Should we really be experimenting with it during live combat?

All right, let's see how this goes...

Well, it's going to do something. Not that this was ever going to be a long fight to begin with... The problem with having a party where the members greatly vary in power is that it makes scaling challenges more or less impossible. Those poor, poor Shadows...

The First Campaign- Part 4
Well, if you can't hurt them all that badly with magic, you'll use the next best thing. Possibly. Under a given definition.

...It's something that will actually reliably deal damage, and at this point, that's more or less what you're looking for. And you don't think you'll actually need to summon a Persona to do this, so it's better if you Channel- it'll save time that would otherwise be spent bringing out your Evoker.

You strike just as the pink Shadows approach, not caring about the pain it causes you so much as what it does to the opponent.

Though, admittedly, what it does the opponent is pretty impressive, the hand nearest to you taking the attack and flying into the nearest wall. It slumps to the ground, dazed and unmoving.

Keeping your momentum, you attack the next one in the same way, and it too flies into the wall. If this were happening to people who were on your side, you'd be somewhat concerned. As it is, this is probably the most incredible thing you've ever accomplished with your powers. You don't even hesitate before attacking the last one, and watching it be propelled by a force so much smaller than it is.
Weaknesses are no joke. If you're not careful, even the slightest brush with one will knock you down.
The rapid-fired attacks leave you gasping for breath for a moment, but you manage to steady yourself with your spear, and you don't think anyone actually notices. "Come on, they're wide open!" You call, and the others follow you.

You aren't entirely sure whose efforts defeat which Shadows, but you can safely say that, once you realized just how easy it was to knock them over, they never stood a chance.

"That... was a lot easier than I thought it would be," Takeba-san admits, before she manages to get a good look at you. "Oh, Amada-kun, are you all right? You look sort of..."

"It's fine." You cut her off before she can worry too much. "My attacks just... take a lot out of me, that's all."

She doesn't seem entirely happy with your answer. "Well, don't do that so much, okay? Here, I'll heal you..." For once, she doesn't seem apprehensive at all about summoning Io. She just... does, and casts the spell.
I think that's called motivation.
You immediately feel a lot better than you did before, to the point where just about everything comes easily to you. It doesn't feel like a perfect fix, but... it should do well enough for the time being.

Akihiko-san activates the teleporter, and Koromaru helps push the unopened briefcases onto it. They vanish in a flash of light, because of course they do, and you can hear Mitsuru-san groaning in the back of your head, even if she doesn't actually say anything.

"So, are we going back? Or are we continuing?" You ask Takeba-san, glancing in the direction of the stairs.

"I don't know..." She admits. "Are any of you getting tired?"

You are, a little, but not in a way that would keep you from moving on, given the chance. "I'll be fine." You aren't actually sure if you will, but if she wants to keep going... you're not going to be the one to hold her back.

(I feel like I should tell you not to continue if you start feeling tired, but...) Mitsuru-san pauses, and while her next thoughts aren't audible to you, you're sure that there's something important she's thinking about. (...It might be best if you hurry to the sixteenth floor.) That just might be one of the most ominous things you've ever heard from her that didn't have any sort of detail to them.

And while you're still not entirely used to the experience of climbing Tartarus yet, you understand enough about this tower to understand that your Navigator sounding ominous while trying to tell you something can never be a good thing.

Takeba-san, however, doesn't seem to see anything wrong with that. "All right. We'll aim for floor sixteen." Just six more floors of this... you're sure you can handle it.

Still, you think you might want to take it easy for the next set of floors.

[ ] So you'll focus on healing anyone who needs it and not do anything else.

[ ] If you find enough items, you could have them do your job for you!

[ ] Or, alternatively, you could just try and climb as quickly as possible.

[x] So you'll focus on healing anyone who needs it and not do anything else.

What's on the sixteenth floor? Did somone get trapped in Tartar sauce already?

[X] So you'll focus on healing anyone who needs it and not do anything else.

*shrug* It'll give us practice w/ our healing magic, if nothing else.
