On a side note, can I just say that I really like how the character sheet is set up for this quest? Just wanted throw that out there.

Photonhand is a fun battle and potential support via manipulation. Psychometry is interesting. After all, there is nothing listed here about control or interpretation (at least to start). And the human mind can go to weird places.
Let's see where this goes.
 
So i just realized that the 'systemic error' thing from the title might be happening in the next update.
 
So only barely related to anything, but I have found like all of the tracks and songs from all across Raildex on Spotify.

I'm gonna have to start using them where they fit...

It's hard to top the ability to blow shit up with a harsh glare.

Clairvoyance seems pretty cool too but Psychometry seems kind of lame, who wants to learn about what people did with their stuff (that's super gross) in the past and technopathy can be done as an electromaster anyway.

Yeah... Psychometry is... strange.

Every other setting that I have seen Psychometry in its a type of Postcognition (also known as Clairsentience) that allows an individual to see the past of an object by interacting with it.

However, the descriptions given in the wiki has Psychometry being some kind of mental manipulation ability, and it very much confuses me.

But essentially - yes, if you do decide to develop the skill's Stunts you can end up going down Technomancy, or Precognition...

A lot of the Extrasensory abilities can develop in ways that can play at being other abilities.

Always down for the more irregular powers.
We could pull some emiya shirou shenanigans and learn the techniques of the owners that own the things we touch. Or control anything we touch what with the technometry implications.

[] Telepathy
Possible body swapping, A mental dive ability, and forced therapy that may or may not render people powerless (and possibly the opposite). The biggest thing, and I'm really tempted, is brain surgery stuff in which we can fix touma's misaki focused amnesia, which I want to do.

[] Clairvoyance
Precognition, but probably not considering this is a quest and would get really meta. Not just seeing wherever, but whoever, maybe some vaguely described solution to a problem. Maybe we can the see the source of a problem like an xray that makes malfunctioning small parts glow.

[] Telekinesis
Vector contol crazily enough, don't want to just have someone else's power though. Microkinesis for some invisible blade shenanigans, and again brain surgery for brain problem affected individuals.

[] Electromaster
Weather control and other ion based stuff. A bigger magnet focus. And mind control stuff.

[] Photonhand
Hitting the whole light spectrum, invisibility and solid light shenanigans.

Many of those are potential ways to develop stuff.

Thank you for the praise on the Coding, it's not as good as back when we were on XF1, but that's simply a matter of the new tables being much less versatile than they used to be.

I change my mind. This seems to be more interesting to develop than Telekinesis. Granted, telekinesis does have more potential for firepower. I would like to try for a more subtle play for our character I guess.

This sounds like it could be both a potent investigative power, and an interesting way to stumble across mysteries. I'm intrigued to see how it will play out.

It looks like in the wiki its more of about reading the person rather than the object itself. Its presented as instead of reading the object's history that they are reading specifically how/why/whats of the person who used the object. Specifically focusing on the person. Forging a connection to the person through the object as opposed to forging a connection with the object maybe?

Eh.

If our power is about reading the object rather than the person then it seems like we might be an odd one out.

Which makes the technopathy start making a lick of sense at least.

So it looks like Psychometry has nearly a half dozen lead.

I'm thinking of heading to get some dinner... (yes I know its 9:30 at night, I haven't eaten.)

Then I'll start working on the update

seeing how the vote has land slided to this I will change my vote to this because as cool as pulling the same trick as Shirou and his Structural Anayisis shenanigans is this just offers more power and utility to my mind right now.
