Alpha level is pretty commonly assumed to be capable of a bit more than that, for a talented biomancer.
Sweet. Because that means in case of fighting Nurglite infection on a limb we can just cut the damn thing off and grow a new one. Can we remove genestealer infection from someone assuming we get to them a few minutes after the genestealer struck?

I mean sure we're good but I would think even neophyte Astartes would be above such base jealousy but then again we have seen some pretty shitty full grown marines as well (Cato Sicarius) so...

Well we are concentrated bullshit. Now I'm worried that this jealousy might cause some of our fellow neophytes to make pacts with Chaos to try and exceed us.

I'm curious how we reacted to the accusation in the immediate. Were we stoic and calm about it? Were we legitimately, innocently baffled? Were we enraged?

For all that Space Marines of the same Chapter are brothers, sometimes they're still people. Especially neophytes who haven't even been properly tested in the crucible of war and who are still caught up in their own superiority, thinking that having made it as a Neophyte they are hot shit.

Oh, how little they know.

Also being an Alpha is not actually a good thing. We're now not just a priority target, but the priority target.
