To make people actually remember, here's it once for posterity: Minako is nonbinary and uses they/them. This message will be pinned so you people stop getting it wrong and pissing me off. If you get it wrong in the future I'm going to be much less nice, considering you have to scroll past it just to read the quest.

Staff Notice - So, "fag" is a slur and generally speaking chan-esque titles like "Poorfag" are going to run up into our Rule 2: Don't Be Hateful. This being your first case of running up into it, this is just me telling you not to do it again.
I guess it's basically my job to ask Moid annoying questions at this point, but my curiosity cannot be quenched.

I have a very important question that the course of the quest depends on.

@TheOneMoiderah
What happened to Poorfag?

[X] Tie her up with your chains and watch out for her powers just in case she's got a trick or two up her sleeve. Immobilize her so that you can chat like civilized Meguca.
-[X] Talk to her, just talk to her, why did she come to fight 'The Adult Magi' anyways? Who told her about you and what did they tell her you did that makes you worth a stupid suicide run?

Engage the Kyouplomancy!

2- It absolutely makes sense more composite witches are showing up here.

System normally goes "Witch makes tragedy, tragedy makes meduka, medukas over time reduce witch population, but after certain point become unsustainable and either lack of grief seeds or DESPAIR, witch out, making more witch, making more tragedy."

With the QBs largely being a largely fixed rate influx of meduka, with minor rate changes based on tragedy and potential variables.

With the megaseed and the support network, new witches are rarity in area, meaning existing witch population is hunted more and no new single witches-> the only witches likely to last long enough in this area are composites
That doesn't make it more likely for a composite witch to be created though?

[x] Okay, now you have to get her talking. Be a cheeky motherfucker, get your taunt game going and rile her up so much she'll have to drop something useful.
-[x] When it becomes clear you aren't getting more, restrain her with your chains.

So I was on the weird part of YouTube, and found a video that Homura made 3 years into her 20 year post Walpurgisnact bender.

Incidentally, if we take Madoka Magica as ocurring in 2011, Minako is currently 2. Kind of crazy how 20 years later isn't quite as long as it seems. That might just be me getting older now though.

She's not wearing a helmet. And you can see her face. Blue eyes half-lidded, before she notices you and her expression turns to shock.

"...m-mom?"
~AAAAAWKWAAAAARD~

Your name is Kyouko Miki-Sakura, and you are a badass.
That's Kyouko, alright.

So... Gonna bet this girl is being threatened (indirectly - family/friends threatened) into doing the evulz Kasamino megucas' dirty recon job.

Asking why she's doing this should be good. After tying her down. Offer help, and she might talk?

I think it has something to do with the main Walpurgis. I wouldn't be too surprised if her Grief Seed attracts Witches and encourages them to, uh, mingle.
As usual I would blame Kyubey: throwing Walpurgises at them in the hope that one gets lucky, as it starves other cities of their grief seeds by putting them in an area that already has an overabundance and as a worst case and they do kill it, then it'll limit the damage that it causes and the potential magical girls who might die to it.
Its more likely for them to be encountered though due to being the only ones left.

Or maybe its something going on behind the scenes
If 99 witches and 1 combined spawn in one area and 99 witches and 1 combined spawn in a different area but the regular witches are killed there is still only one Walpurgis in each, therefore they're just as common however they are overrepresented in the second area.
You are equally likely to encounter one walpugis in either but you're 100 times more likely to encounter a witch of any sort in area One.

[X] Severely injure her. (1 Difficulty; the intent is to scare her off permanently. It's not great but it'll be better than killing her, and it leaves a chilling effect on Kasamino)

I don't want to risk Kyouplomacy.

You can argue severely injuring people is Kyouplomacy. You just can do with words or spears.

I expect to hear something like "You, evil adult megucas of Mitakihara, hoard the Mega-Seed for yourselves, while we, poor megucas of Kasamino, barely scrape together enough Seeds to stay alive!"

Ah yes, the hoarding of the seed that is literally right there in public view, that is being oh so selfishly hoarded by the 50 odd megucas in the city.

The seed that you can literally walk up to and tap to use. That hoarded seed.

To be completely fair, the average Meguca IS a teenager. And most teenagers can be smart but also 'DUMB AS A ROCK HOLY HELL' at the same time if that makes any sense whatsoever.

Heard that before." You take a step forward. "You have a few options." You raise three fingers. "One, you turn back the way you came. Two, you fight me, and you lose. Three, you fight my wife and me, and you turbo lose."
"And I guess there's four. You somehow win. Which is the worst possible thing that can happen to you. I got two friends, see? If something happens to me, one of them is going to cry. The other one is the deadliest magical girl in Japan, and she will take offense to that. She can kill you, and there's nothing you can do ti stop it. So, feeling lucky punk?"

Also Kyoko's armor is apparently channeling Ophelia's image

Well, time manipulation magic does exist.... WAIT A SECOND!
1- For all moeid says that mado homus are spoilers, I do figure its a safe bet they arent in mikitahara full stop. Not many good memories for homu here.
Homura Does Time Manipulation.

Think on that.

Welp. That's going to have some fallout. And then the thing later, that's going to have some more fallout. Fun, fun, fun.

As for the vote...

I can't really think of anything better. Thought about putting in a bit on theming to check this girl's Soul Gem, because something about he behavior makes me think potential despair spiral, but...

That'd be too easy to mistake as a murder attempt.

She's specifically here to kill 'the adult magi' (maybe she's got bad intel on the numbers or maybe whoever fed her the intel didn't care enough about her to make sure it was accurate). Why? What's the issue with an adult Magi in the first place that makes her want to do this?
Devil's Advocate: Magi can be plural, grammatically. It's possible nobody sent her specifically and she just thinks she's hot shit enough to take on both of em. Kids are stupid sometimes.

Kyouko was a very strong magical girl (even without her powers) 20 years ago. This girl didn't have a shot then. She certainly doesn't now.

Oh yeah, she fucked. Turbofucked. Not literally, obviously, but figuratively.

Alas I thought we'd keep the reveal from Minako a little bit longer. Like the contrasts between the two sides of the drawing. The plain background on Minako's side with the fantastic background on Sayaka side with the latter started to cross over into the former. Which is a pretty cool way to signify what is going to happen in Minako's life from now on.

Also this new girl was pretty much sent as canary to a gas leak in a cave. Unless she has some super OP power, the real challenge will be talking her down.
