I'm not sure whether this is legal, but...

[x] Go for a walk during the green time. Try to find some other aware people. If you find them, observe them from distance and try to find them during the day later. Avoid combat.

I feel that implies several things. Like those aware of the Dark Hour are hostile. And that you can tell who knows or not by looking at them

Edit: I misread that. Badly.

Well, it'd be less likely to give Shinji a panic attack for the second time in as many weeks... sure, I'll allow it.

Well, there is Strega (IIRC, or were they called something else?) who we definitely don't want to meet. If we observe someone during Dark Hour and later find during the day, we might "scout" them and learn whether they are good or bad (or at least try). And you can easly tell who knows, they just need to be outside coffins. Unless you mean to try and find those aware during the day?

I badly misread your vote. I thought you meant people walking around in the day. Sorry.

I can only see negatives of going out during the Dark Hour. Anyone able to give me good reasons?

My concerns for those curious is that Ken wants to learn more about it cuz he feels he's not ready to face the Shadows. Strega. Just, Strega. And how do we get out and in without anything going wrong?

[X] There has to be a book in the library about this kind of thing, right?

Might change later, but...

This implies staying awake until the green time, which will also help Ken figure out that it does in fact occur every night, and when.

[X] Talk to people. If anyone else experiences the green time, surely they have the same problems that you do.
-[X] Maybe try to find "Shinji" and Sanada-San? You feel like you met them before and not in the future friends kind of way. Maybe you met them during the Green time?

Now, for the second expedition into the Dark Hour!

-Vote Closed!-

Let's just hope you don't run into any Shadows... or sleep through the Hour... or encounter any people you really shouldn't... or break anything else. Huh. Dark Hour's got a few more attached hazards than I thought.

Ready For Adventure? No? Too Bad!
Okay, so you need to learn how to control your powers. For that, the ideal method would be to find a teacher. There are other people who are out of coffins in the green time, surely at least one of them has the same capabilities as you do.

Of course, while you know that these people should exist, that still leaves the question of finding them. After all, just going around and asking people if they're used to water turning to blood late at night would probably, at the very least, get you quite a few weird looks.

But then it occurs to you: You can just look for other people with powers inside the green time! Yes, it breaks your one rule, but you've already been outside, and it worked out well enough. ...At least, if you don't mind the broken door. Most people do.

Of course, going into the green time requires extensive preparation, otherwise you're just going to be at the mercy of whatever you happen across.

...Okay, so it's probably going to be that way no matter how you prepare, but you're nine! You shouldn't have to worry about preparing for this, it just happened! All things considered, you actually think you're doing pretty well for yourself.

Preparations in mind, it's time to get started.

You're first preparation is arguable the most difficult: sleeping in class. The green time only occurs at night, therefore you want to be well-rested so you still have energy when it happens.

You also need to look like you're paying attention so the teachers don't get upset with you. You've known them to regularly call on kids who look like they aren't paying attention, and you'd really rather not deal with that right now.

Thankfully, the kid sitting in front of you is rather large, so you doubt you can normally be seen all that well anyway. But constantly worrying about being caught sleeping does not make for a very restful nap!

The other steps are easier. Something to deal with the cold- that's your jacket, a pair of gloves, and a warm scarf, piled up next to your bed so you can put them on when you're ready to go. You have Dia to handle any issues that arise, but it's better to avoid issues in the first place.

A way to defend yourself. You have magic, and a highly destructive physical ability. Also, you plan on running in the other direction if you do see any monsters and they haven't noticed you yet, so it should work out rather well. Worst case, you can blow up a streetlight so that it falls on them, or something. Very worst case. You're doing this so you don't have to break anything else, after all.

Some way to restore your energy. It's not much, but you do stop by a vending machine to buy a drink. You spend some time thinking over the variety you feel would refresh you the most, and eventually decide on a...

Technically speaking, you probably had enough for two, but it's hard enough hiding one canned drink that you technically aren't supposed to have in your room, let alone two of them. So one drink it is.

Now all there is left is to wait for the green time.

It's late. Everyone else has, of course, gone to bed. The moon outside is bright, but not the unnaturally-large white of the green time. Trying not you yawn, you glance at your clock. 23:59. Much later than you normally stay up, and you're sort of tired even with your nap earlier.

And then the numbers disappear from the clock, the lights on the street go out, and it's just you in a dark, green world. Well, green and red, but you try not to look at the puddles on the street. They're disturbing enough even when you aren't about to go walk among them.

You put on your warm clothes and walk right out of the dorm, not bothered at all by the two or three coffins standing in the middle of the street. You have people to search for...

...If you knew where to search in the first place, this would be a lot easier. Well, no better time to decide!

Ok, I don't really remember which of those drinks restores SP, but if they all do, maybe Nastea? It shouldn't be carbonated at least, so it won't explode from running or something...

[X] Go Towards a High School
Isn't this a bit too meta? Why would Ken go to High School?
Also, will we find the best friend doggy at Shrine, or is it too early?

[X] Go to the shrine.

I'd like to see if we run into Koromaru this early. This might be slightly meta, but it's been established that Ken hangs out there already.
