I'm not sure what this counts as:

This is what you hit us with? Normally I'd keep my mouth shut for the sake of weeding out the idiots and not looking like a total pompous bitch, but REALLY? Come on guys let's get this over with already. Ugh, if the rest of the test is this easy I'm going to have to refuse the damned promotion because clearly the designers aren't putting any effort into this. I mean Onoki over there is trying to do a good job with substandard material but he clearly didn't design this test because a jounin should fucking know better. That my friend, is a great fucking vote that does not have any of the other part of the vote that is needed. Are you talking to the Konoha bros or everyone else?

I'm not sure what the goal is? Distract everyone while Konoha gets a head start?

Well that's rather my question, I don't know if that fits either of the categories.

Ideally it's to give Konoha a head start, but also make enough of a majority follow us for fear of disagreeing with the person who seems to think this is an academy exercise and has already 'seen through it', that they can't afford to fail us even if there's a wrong answer.

    Danzo was sipping on his tea, watching the knight of Britannia pace around his room like an uncontrollable toddler.

    "You can relax a little," Danzo stated as he set his teacup down. "Seeing you walk around like that is not good for your health."

    That made Mordred walk over to Danzo and punch the tree beside him, causing the whole thing to shake, leaves began to fall down. "You want to talk about health?" The girl gritted her teeth. "I am now in a world where I do not belong! I am without my home, my family!" The tears began falling down the girl's cheeks. "And all that I have left is a bitter old bag of shit treating me like a child!"

    Danzo calmly stood up. "Then shut up and listen to me." His voice ice cold, which made Mordred step back. "You are not the only one who feels lost in this predicament." He walked forward, making Mordred step backward. "However, we are in a situation that can benefit us."

    "And how do you plan that?" Mordred asked, beginning to feel uneasy at Danzo's gaze.

    Danzo stopped and drew a kunai. "The first thing you can do is stop acting like my students and more like the knight of Britannia that you claim to be, and show me how handy you are with that sword."

    Mordred's face rose with a smile. Her sword ready for battle. "Have at me Scarface."

    Mikasa went deeper in the hot spring water. The water was so nice.

    It was nice to feel safe, and comfortable.

    She was pretty sure the kids figured out the riddle… and if they didn't it wouldn't matter.

    Konoha hot springs were better then Iwa's anyway.

    "I told you my friend, no one can out drink an Uchiha!" Kagami shouted with glee.

    "Well, your reign of terror will come to an end!" Sojiro shouted back as he drowned another bottle of Sake. "Two more bottles please!"

    "Shouldn't we be watching the exams?" Kagami asked.

    Sojiro burped. "Ah don't worry about it, the test that Iwa's coming up with isn't for another two days. We can sleep off the hangover."

    "Wait… what's the test?" Kagami asked.

    Two bottles of Sake appeared. "CHUG!" Sojiro shouted as he began to drink.

    Hiruzen laughed as he puffed his pipe. "That's rather clever Mu."

    The Second Tsuchikage blew another smoke ring. "You think the Genin will see it coming?"

    Hiruzen smiled. "Of course not. Why would they even think of something that insane and ludicrous?"

    "I don't know… you brought an interesting crop of Genin this year. They might figure it out?" The Second Tsuchikage stated.

    "Not before the drugs kick in." Hiruzen laughed.

    The two men continued to laugh, celebrating their nations new alliance.

    Isn't part of this trick being ready for the inevitable trap? Both sides are right, but at the same time also wrong.

    The trick is to pick one and force it to be the correct choice for you. The real question is what the trap could be, but outside the "suddenly, no floor" trick it could be anything really.
