I think that the high rolls were basically Dodge saves.

Seriously, the spread is incredible. You either succeeded fairly well (lowest 67) or they'll be sending you home in bento boxes (highest 37, a gap of 30).

Edit: Huh, if you count the Minor Villages as a high roll, there's an even 6/6 split between good rolls and bad.

Waterfall is clearly rocking all of the tricks that Kakuzu walked away with in canon, with their goddamn first generation jinchuriki. Assuming that that wasn't actually Kakuzu and the village was smart enough this time around to avoid alienating the kid that made a 'kage notice.

Zetsu is down a body or two. And all semblances of basic dignity.

Root... I don't think they are going to have enough basic numbers to be a threat by the end of this, at this rate. They were nowhere near the worst losers here in pure numbers but this is take number two. Somebody else is fishing a heaping pile Root masks out of the torso cavity of a Zetsu, and all that.
Yeah... Danzo might just get his funding... and well everything that made ROOT a formidable organization cut down because clearly it failed misribly.
Taki decided to ride the escalation train and sent the seven tail jinchuriki along with their hunter nin? No one expects the tiny 3 world power to hit you in the face with the ninja equivalent of a Nuke.

I think Taki might have been able to pull a fast one and become the 6th major ninja village if it just had some more diplomatic recognition and political power.

Well, right now they have a lot of bargaining power. And took zero casualties and more or less have uncontested control over this theater of operations until someone sends backup. Too bad that those same tunnels allowed an unguarded entrance for the ninja to crawl in and kill him in his sleep.

Now it was just used by smugglers bringing in illegal goods.

You thanked the kids and left them to their devices.

The Henge worked perfectly, and while Aka's form was very uncomfortable for the amount of Chakra you had, it was enough.

As it turned out, you were once again mistaken for this 'Aka of the Red Waves'
