[X]Option C: Together as One: You need to plan your escape with your fellow captives. They have skills, but they need to be able to communicate, and you need their help if you are going to be able to make it out of this alive. (Children's Crusade Path: Brotherhood Begins)

If need be we should still be able to switch to Option B and set loose the Beast.
Though what the other children and our superiors would think of such an action when chosen deliberately rather than 'in desperation'... hmm.

Trail of Tears has multiple meanings depending on the choices you choose in the arc. Tears can be shed with death, happiness, and sorrow.
On one hand, you're the author.
On the other hand to anyone who's familiar with US history, 'trail of tears' has very specific connotations.

I know.

But I could not think of a better name for the arc about forcibly going through a hostile territory to god knows where.

In that case do you not think suggesting Trail of Tears could be tears of happiness could be wildly insensitive for a forum where there was a proposal to make Genocide denial against the rules?
No, because for B, you will be fighting your way out of your subconscious, and not in control of your body.

C is you trying to plan and execute an escape from your captors.
I think he means do C but at the point we do the escape Ayako does B.

Oh... I'll change the name.

Trail of Terror I think will be more... well less bad.

Erm, I'm sure our QM understands the connotation of the name as well as some of the history, but he choose it to be representative of potential outcomes.

Edit: Nevermind just saw latest post.

[X]Option B: Free the Beast: "Release restraint level 3, 2, 1. Beast, Aka, your mission is the subduing of enemy combatants and rescuing the academy class and friendly ninja, while making our escape. Time is of the utmost essence. If we reach our kidnapper's destination, the mission is a failure. Good luck and try to stay alive." With those words, you were thrust away into your subconscious. (Children's crusade Path: Escaping the Mind Begins.)

We don't know if we will even be able to wake our classmates. (though it being an option paints that assumption as a yes)
Also having this happen while Aka is still around to help out may make any subsequent forays into our subconscious easier. Nothing is guaranteed of course.

I understood what the name meant (I'm an American history major for christ sake, I know what that event is and how much pain and suffering it caused.)

The name itself just felt appropriate to use because doing nothing and following along can sometimes lead to a worse outcome than trying to escape or fight back.

But since some people think I'm just using the name without any respect for the event in question, or knowledge of it, then I might as well just dump it and choose something less... well controversial.

If it works there's a high chance that we will become friends with everybody (or lowered DCs, at least). Which means more gains down the line.

[x]Option D: Wait: You need to wait for a rescue. Hopefully one comes to your rescue. (Children's Crusade Path: Trail of Terror begins.)

What a fun start to our little adventure. One where the odds of survival are low, us all escaping are even lower and a non zero chance that at least one person might turn to the dark side. In short everything I'd want in a prequel adventure.

Well, the butterfly effect might make Naruto not exist... as well as half the fucking timeline now out of whack with our dear friend Madara's plan for peace.

Your in AU territory now people.
