The Mission
The Mission

(Kiezo POV)

You hid behind cover, your heartbeat slowing to a crawl. Gazing at the wound in your side, you took a deep breath. The kunai was still within your body, and the blood was slowly leaking out.

You had already weighed your options and kept it in. Taking it out would just mean you would bleed out faster, and the enemy would get to the caravan without a fight. But they wanted to strike without any resistance, and they had met you when you were

Damn Iwa Nin were getting desperate if they were striking at civilian caravans this close to the border.

But it did answer one of the many rumors that you have heard within the village. Sarutobi's smokescreen of military strength to boost missions and revenue while taking it away from other villages was working… A bit to well if you had to say anything about it.

After all, if that was not happening, you would not be in this situation.

"Well, Jiren… I'm gonna need you to wake up right now, and help out." you thought within your mind, causing the beast to stir.

"Really, you look like your doing so well?" The beast joked.

"Now's not the time? We're losing blood."

The beast chuckled. "How many?"

"Four, three genin and a jounin… Looks like Iwa thinks raiding a caravan is a C rank." You stated, coughing.

"Hahaha… The usual bargain." The beast asked. "Or would you rather deal with them yourself.

"I think it's time I let you stretch your legs my friend, and do that new trick you've told me about." You whispered before standing up straight and making the dragon sign. "Mondai-jō no kokoro! Release restraint leval one, with control granted to my other! Restraint shall not be restored until all enemies are vanquished from this battlefield!"

On your hand, a single wing of your clan's symbol disappeared.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Finally." Jiren smiled. He cracked his host's knuckles and stepped out into the open, smelling the forest air. His hand hovered over a small brush on his side, and a tiny bottle of ink. "And you brought my favorite ink too… Thank you, Keizo."

He looked at the team of ninja coming towards him. "Not even fair."

He opened the bottle. "Deadly Ink: Rising Wolf no Jutsu!"

A Beast roared as the blood and ink mixed in front of him, taking the physical shape of a wolf, only made of blood and ink.

"DIE!" Jiren screamed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You came to standing over a dead Jounin. His body was mangled, torn apart by a by a beast of blood and ink.

The beast itself was still knawing on one of the jounins legs.

You looked to your side to see the wound was sealed shut by fire, and hastily covered in a bandage. Your hands now had the three wings back. The restraints were back in place

"Where are the others?" You asked.

"Around," Jiren replied, your head turning to face a child ripped in half by claw and teeth, unmoving and eyes, thankfully closed. "Over there" You saw torn up clothes with blood on them. "And over there." You saw only a pair of shoes left.

"By…" You sighed. "Thank you."

"Now let me go back to sleep… I want to draw something when we get home."

"You always want to draw something." You replied, walking towards the bodies.

"You're not going to loot them for intelligence?" Jiren asked.

You opened up another bottle from your pouch and poured it on the jounin. In his flack vest, there was a scroll with Iwagakure written on it, with the Tsukage's signature on it. You picked it up.

"Oh," Jiren became silent. "You know what this means."

"I know." You pulled out your two spark rocks and struck them together. The body started to burn.

"If you bring it back, there will be war." Jiren replied.

"I know." You dropped the orders into the fire. Letting them burn.

There would be other raids, and soon, from all the other nations.

But you would not be the one who brought in the intelligence and started a war over it.

AN: Basically, I read up on how there are huge economic disparities between the nations right now in the naruto canon.

And lets just say that this is going to be more of a cold war instead of a hot one for now, so expect these little omakes to pop up to show what everyone is kinda doing.

Also, everyone on all sides is destroying intel of hostile nations raiding one another because the first war ended less than 7 years ago.

[X]The Fights: You see the hand to hand combat Aka is doing… so much of what she does seems impossible to you, yet it all seems possible now. (Taijutsu: Krav Maga is set to Mastery)

Main issue with guns is that they don't take advantage of crazy ninja strength and are loud. As for friends, I want her to focus on finding value in her current friends - not reminiscing on Aka's.

Well, you won't be reminiscing on Aka's friends. You'll be learning that... the more things change, the more they stay the same. And that even memories of friends from a past life can affect how you deal with people in this one.

Edit: And other goodies.

[X]The friends: Aka's memories included the ones of her friends… Deeply treasured ones. (??? Not All Those Who Die Are Gone Forever)

The best way to make sure Aka is remembered after her death.

All the people voting for fighting have obviously never watched a shounen. We can learn decent taijutsu from anyone.

The power of friendship is what turns mortals into gods.

Edit: Because I know Krav Maga and like it.

In that setting? At the very least a person's mental, emotional, and even philosophical grounding has a measurable and often quite significant effect on what they can do. Some things work better than others, or at least better than others at certain purposes, but just being more of yourself internally will make you a presence to be witnessed in the material world.

Its both a strength and a vulnerability. Becoming massively invested in someone and then losing them will either diminish you, leave you distorted into the next villain, or both... if you can't come to terms with that loss. If you can come to terms... no easy feat... that, that is how heroes are made and villains are redeemed. Rather than avenging the fallen, you honor them. Rather than treating the living as an abstract concept, an excuse, you walk with them and care about them as people.

Without grounding we don't have to worry about Madara overpowering us: He could break us with a few words and an orchestrated event like he pulled on Obito.

But I would like to say this: You will gain all the memories later in due time. Every thing will help you in way or another at various points in time. This vote is just seeing which one you get first.

Kages: Why hasn't war broken out yet? I've been provoking them for months!"
Head Jonin, standing in front of a smoldering pile of reports: "I don't know, my Lord. We can only assume the raids are just going that well, and operational security is being maintained."

While not entirely correct, similar things are occurring. Except in Konoha, Lord Third is swiming in a pile of Ryu from all the missions his village is piling in.

Aburame Asahi
Mind if anyone can help me find a female child Aburame pic. I can't really find one.

Name: Abrume Asahi

Age: 6

Rank: Academy Student/ Clan Member

Chakra: Academy Student

Traits:

Kochū: A special bug of the Aburame clan. They can produce a poison that will paralyze their victims and kill them a short while later. Their venom, however, can be made weaker, causing them to only knock out their victim. (+50 to assassination or incapacitation rolls)

Diligent: This character is a hard worker, putting their all into everything (+10 to all rolls)

Jutsu's known:

Substitution: An E Rank Jutsu: With this technique, users replace their own body with some other object, generally with a block of wood, the moment an attack lands.

@Magoose

Does this work?

Edit: Actually looking at where they come from on google images, I think this is from Hidden in the Leaves Redux. That's what the older version of this pic says anyway

Edit2:

Found another.
