EDIT: Ok, that's Ranger taken care of, meaning the bot I was planning on repairing Dodger I can instead have repair one of the other two damaged bots that still need attention.

So we have 3 damaged and 1 battered bots that need to get repaired. In other news though get rekt cannibals! Though we will need to repair the laser and mortar combined with keeping some bots on base defense moving forward. Also we should probably try to salavage spare parts to keep up with repairs moving forward. Also maybe try and diplo some more loners to join us?

The extruder can be used while not installed.
It's a military chain of command, so I see no reason why it shouldn't work as a combat action.
The important thing is that we get all the bots repaired before we divert any of them to other projects. Bot repairs really should have priority.
They're at our gates, defending the base should suffice.

Alright Then, repairing. Who should I repair? Goerge/ @always_confused ?
First we need to know if we can just 'repair everyone' with a general action that everyone gets on board with.
If not, Void Stalker already mentioned the four bots in need of repair, and Queen Pally is already covering Ranger.
On a related note - you know a building that might be good to have? A repair bay of some kind or 'maintenance house' for a bonus to repairing robots and installing new tech.
Whatever the robot equivalent of a small hospital would be, basically.

And while Cave really wants that extruder inside of him, He can see priorities

I think Space Jawa wants to make the combat minions guard, Which is probally enough
So for the negotiation I am going to assume half way between our two bases is a fair distribution of scavenging areas. Working off that assumption I am going to try to use my diplo skill/giving the generator to negotiate 15% more territory.
I think an open borders agreement for trade makes sense too.

Well considering you're doing the same action that I'm doing in the post right above yours...
Was going to start working on a production chain for stamping out parts by using the thruster to melt the random metal in the area into a crucible, use the medium electromagnet to filter out the steel or whatever into another crucible or something, and then use a welder to cut out patterns to use for pouring the molten filtered metal and stamp out parts. Which I said several posts ago.
