I liked the update, and I have a potential upgrade plan of my own.

[X] EXP Plan Upgrade
-[X] Upgrade Sunlight Scepter to level 20 (850)
-[X] Purchase Overtake Greater (500)
-[X] Purchase Raging Shine (450)
-[X] Upgrade Scorching Sunlight to level 15 (140)
-[X] Upgrade Soothing Moonlight to level 15 (270)
Total EXP Spent: 2,210

Ok, my plan gets us another APT, vastly increases Sun's MM and Damage, let's us reduce the effectiveness of Guard's Dream-like Skill, does something that improves Moon, and makes progress towards Reflected Godlight. I figure that since Reflected Godlight has three level 15 spells as its prerequisites, it has something to do with spells itself, and since Moon and Sun can't really use Spells for a while, it'd be better to focus on improving our weapons and Abilities for this fight.

[X] Just beat her down, she was mean and you are not in the mood to indulge her.

Since there isn't really any reason to not just save everything right now, how about saving most of it?

[ ] EXP Don't Leave Ana Behind
-[ ] Upgrade Life Sense 5 -> 10 (350 EXP)
-[ ] Purchase Advanced Life Sense (400 EXP)

That leaves 1560 EXP remaining for whatever winds up being useful for the few remaining serious threats.

You don't want to win that Super Secrettm Bonus Match against the White Reaper? :V

Overtake Greater
-Have or fight opponents with Skilled, Master Skill, and Inhuman Skill Screw it, you defeated someone with Unmatched Skill
-Have or fight opponents with Skillful Dodge, Adroit Dodge, and Masterful Dodge
-500 EXP
You may not be the most capable in the world, but you refuse to be outdone.
Love the commentary.

So I realised that even though I want to explain how exactly it worked in-character, I can not do that. Pris has no idea how she actually did it beyond "I kill you and bring you back, so now you are actually real even if you weren't before".
Well, perks and downsides of playing kids. They don't always think to look that deep.

[X] Just beat her down, she was mean and you are not in the mood to indulge her.

While it'd be nice to pacifist run her...when our heals are offline is not really the time to take those risks.

If Naron made a girl who was immune to Sudden Death,[Death] would bust through a wall like the Kool-Aid man and smack him upside the head.
But Primeval Earth is sorta immune to Sudden Death?

She no sells any non-damaging Sudden Death attack (one that auto kills or inflicts a status condition, presumably).

A damaging Sudden Death attack only works against her by modulating its own damage down to bypass "immune to incoming damage higher than max health".

Technically we can, by abusing the whole thing about "protagonists get action priority in combat".

Superior Discipline -> Two spells (one from each body) that each have no more than 30k Total Damage + either of Ana's offensive spells.

3 hits that get past her defenses before her first action and combined Final End Damage greater than her max hp.

The thing about having an ability that says your abilities can't be ignored is that... Sudden Death will just ignore that one because fuck you it's Sudden Death.

That is true, though Sudden Death is incredibly rare and very unlikely to be found on something that deals enough damage to go through her other stuff in one hit. Because if you have Sudden Death, large numbers are no longer as important.

Aside from the fact that, you know, it is already a rare Ability due to belonging to a rare Affinity.

Also, technically speaking Death affinity targets are immune to Sudden Death, same as Rule ignores Supremacy and nerfs Kingdom.

I wonder when we're getting introduced to someone with Death | Rule set of affinities... Gotta happen eventually.

[X] Exp Plan: Reflected Godlight

-[X] Baleful Eclipse 13 -> 15 (270 XP)
-[X] Reflected Godlight (750 XP)

I'd rather have event horizon, but I doubt I'll get any votes at this point, and I don't like the other plans much. The life sense one is okay, I guess?

I don't really care either way for the other choice.

There are two votes for two plans respectively and one vote for another.

But of course saving will not win if you only talk about it being impossible instead of voting for it.
...okay, I miscounted horribly somewhere. I thought it was 4(5 with me)/2/1

In that case...

Guys, even with the upgrades and the additional party members, Nightmare Guard isn't going to be an easy fight. I really think that we should try to upgrade our skills.

Are we talking about the same character?
Due to her Brave Dreamer, she has:
14'000 Health
4'000 Damage
3'500 Resilience
1'500 Magic Modifier

She has an Auto Counter Shield, which means she substracts ~5000 from any attack we make on her. She has Defensive Bulwark, which means she has effective Damage Reduction that goes from 28'000 to 40'000 after that. And she has Dream-like Skill which (while not Rico's Legendary Skill that transforms into Unmatched Skill - the same ability as Goddess Grey had - which is the probable cause for being able to do the "negate the intercepting attack" trick) means her unknown number of actions on her sword is giving her a good way of deflecting basic attacks.

But that is all she has in terms of defense.

She must deflect all of Moon's attacks without fail, lest she be defeated in a single blow. She must not let even a single attack of hers be caught by Moon, lest she be defeated in a single counterattack. And none of her attacks have even a smidgen of chance of wounding Moon - not unless she has both Rain of Blows and Multi Slash, and her damage compared to Resilience and Magic Modifier probably indicate she has her Sword level at 4 or 8, 10 at the most. In fact, due to her blade, Hope, having a single ability, I expect it to have Level 4.

She has always been specced for fighting within her World Sphere. Barring her Dream Come True, and her mystery box ability, there is nothing she can do about us. She ought to be wary of casting Dream Come True after her last try. And even if her mystery box ability is an Active Ability that flips her Defensive Bulwark to instead grant her greater damage, she's going up against four opponents minimum.

Now let's look at our girls. Moon is grossly overpowered. Sun has 18348+1022+511=19871 minimum damage, with d18348 above. She handily smashes through Dreams (the shield) and lands a follow-up hit for a minimum of 22.5k damage, but with the expected damage being ~41k after that. And her force field from Veil of the Solar Goddess also provides her with sufficient defense against the Chariot-chan's sword strikes, too. To make it worse, both her RSU multiplier and her working in concert with Ana's attacks would not just break through Nightmare Guards' guard, but utterly wreck her.

Then we have Ludger the Best Dog. His damage and defenses aren't exactly useful against her, but he won't be a burden - especially if he tanks her attacks. And finally, leaving aside the Benign Twins, we have World Eater, whose damage-based spells would wreck Chariot-chan's defenses, at a minimum dropping her Damage Reduction to 12k max.
