I don't know, since this is a world with Dragon Balls, I'm a bit more blase. 'Rescue New Friend' is a great motivator to increase power levels, and worst comes to worst we gather the Dragon Balls and wish him to wellness.

Let's collect the facts.

1) Sean is our best source of Earth info.
2) Sean is the closest thing we have to an ally outside of our little group of pilgrims.
3) The Dragon Radar is the current MacGuffin.
4) If Sean is captured,the enemy gains access to his skills. Potentially.
5) If we're captured,we're practically guaranteed to wind up on a slab.
6) It's one on one,and time is very limited.
7) Our opponent is an almost-complete unknown.
8) These tossers interrupted our meal. Sean's cabin is probably burning down,right now,because we left the oven on.

Based on these facts,we can make some assumptions.

1) Sean's being a moron with his hero routine; His loss or capture would be infinitely worse than your own.
2) We simply do not have the time to do everything we need to all at once. And I refuse to roll the knucklebones for that DC 80 roll. I saw your invisitext,Lightning.
3) Any fight with this enemy is going to take up our precious time. Odds are,reinforcements are just behind,knowing our luck and how Lightning writes. You love fucking with people,you little troll.

So,based on these facts and assumptions... We should not attempt to go for the ideal result. It'll just fuck us over even harder. Instead,we should get creative,and divide and conquer. I say,we should divide their attention. Throw something,but not the Dragon Radar,at Colby and Chaya,while pocketing the Radar ourselves. This little bit of legerdemain,if it succeeds,should allow us to take at least some of the heat off of us while the enemy divides their resources to pursue two simultaneous targets. Meanwhile,we stay behind to bail Sean out,and find an alternative means off of this high-density rock. Probably the Saiyan Pods,all told. Divide and conquer. And,also,probably the motto at Soko's home...

FIGHT! WIN! PREVAIL!

[X] These bastards interrupted our first meal in six months, and threatening the only one who has shown willingness to make some food for us. Kill the woman.

[X] Write-in: We have no time; Throw a rock towards Chaya and Colby,while quickly and discreetly pocketing the Dragon Radar. Then,engage our "guest",looking for any excuse to disengage and escape with Sean. Bloody her nose enough to discourage pursuit.

But killing her is so much easier!

Seriously, DC 75 to escape her. Killing is so much a better option. Or at least, beating her into unconsciousness.

That 75 DC to escape is most likely to escape without first engaging her. We know nothing about this woman. We have no idea if we can kill her. We might be Saiyans spoiling for a fight,but we're intelligent Saiyans. Besides,the point is to GTFO,not encourage terrible vengeance. If we engage her,then bloody her nose enough in so doing,getting away will be easy,because she'll back off to get backup,giving us time to put ground between us and them.

Between knocking her out, or letting her run, or her running in general, I'd like to think we'd get the most time of getting out of dodge if she's unconscious.

[X] Plan Bluff
-[X] Write-In: The scouter, honestly, isn't the important bit. One way or another, Sean must get out, because otherwise, we will be stranded on an alien planet with no guide and a warlord collecting the Dragon Balls, which can't be good. If Sean is captured, he can be forced to make another dragon radar, and that becomes a race against time. Instead, threaten to destroy the scouter. Hopefully, this should buy enough time for Sean to get away, and hopefully, us as well.

@LightningShow is this a legal plan?

May I remind you Sean doesn't seem capable of Flight and the ship is already flying away?

That's legal, might fail, but yea

[X] Grab Sean's scouter, get Sean out of Feleen's grip, and toss him and the Scouter to the ship hoping Chaya or Colby will catch him. You won't get to the ship, but those three will get away and you'll at least have the ability to buy them some time. Either you win the ensuing fight and call in your space pod to send you to Earth to catch up with the other's, or you get captured. (Calls for a DC Check from the players of 75 to escape. I'll be taking only the first dice roll if this vote wins.)

Some more facts to consider.

1) This woman is obviously able to sense ki; She's the same one who was staring us down when we spiked our ki to eavesdrop.
2) She's confident enough to engage us in combat,even knowing how powerful we are. This speaks volumes to her own confidence in her power and/or skill.
3) She dodged a bullet at swordfighting ranges. After it was fired.
4) Our Scouter didn't detect her until she was right on top of us; Either she's insignificantly weak,but tremendously skilled,or she's able to pull a Krillin,and conceal her ki presence. I'm banking on the latter.
5) This woman is almost a complete unknown; As anybody who knows anything about combat,strategy,and tactics can tell you,this is a worst case nightmare scenario.

@DarkKing98
@Ultramandalore
@ExNihilo
@Kinruush

Those are five very important facts to consider. Further,another question to consider; Is Soko mentally prepared to kill someone? I don't think she is.

My vote stands. Based on what we know,it offers the greatest chance of getting out of here in a state to pursue our objectives.

Mass tagging is looked down upon. I'm active in the thread, I would have read it.

I know from personal experience that most people don't look back at a thread after they cast their votes until they see a post from the QM.

3) She dodged a bullet at swordfighting ranges. After it was fired.
...so? You seem to be forgetting the setting. Pretty sure a power level of 100 is good enough to repeat that. If anything, it speaks in favor of US since at the beginning of Z characters can tank bullets with ease. She seemingly can't.
5) This woman is almost a complete unknown; As anybody who knows anything about combat,strategy,and tactics can tell you,this is a worst case nightmare scenario
Same can be said about her info on us.
4) Our Scouter didn't detect her until she was right on top of us; Either she's insignificantly weak,but tremendously skilled,or she's able to pull a Krillin,and conceal her ki presence. I'm banking on the latter.

This says NOTHING of her combat abilities or strength.

Edit 2: Actually, this says even less since the Z Fighters could sense Ki and still went to fight Nappa and Vegeta.
2) She's confident enough to engage us in combat,even knowing how powerful we are. This speaks volumes to her own confidence in her power and/or skill
That, or arrogance. Go ahead, flip that coin. Also, no saying our spike was to our max power either.

Edit: Actually, if anything, her being able to sense Ki is an added incentive to knock her out/kill her since we won't be able to hide from her.

Just as a notice, if a vote involving combat wins then the dice rolls will be contested combat rolls. They will be in the post, using invisitext.

I'm quite familiar with how Lightning writes. Consider this a warning from the prophet. Throw out the playbook; Lightning enjoys toying with expectations,upending conventions,and thoroughly messing with tropes. Deconstruction and reconstruction with a dash of grim reality is what they do. While yes,this IS Dragon Ball,we're still ten years old,fighting an ADULT. This woman has an entire lifetime of skill and experience up on us. And she's a known terrorist.

So,this could play out like Dragon Ball... Or it could play out differently.

Go ahead. Flip that coin.

This IS Dragon Ball. Power, experience, and skill is the name of the game. It's already been confirmed typical dragon ball insanity is in effect. So again, her dodging a bullet is MEANINGLESS. To a degree at least.

You are fearing how they write. Caution is good. But if we are expecting deconstruction of tropes, this absolutely means we CANNOT hide or escape so long as she is chasing us. We MUST disable her for an escape.

At least, if you want to play the fear mongering game. The Dragon Ball series is insanity. Besides, if a strong fighter is in front of us, do you really think our pride will allow us to run without even trying to fight her first? I doubt it.

So basically, I WILL flip that coin. I'm confident we can hold our own. If I'm wrong, oh well. Not like we'll escape her otherwise. Because again, if she can sense Ki, we CANNOT HIDE.
