Hyrule: Total War Apocalypse

Boars render our cav useless due to: 1. Scaring the horses and 2. Arrows not being effective against them, as indicated by the second quote I've used. That's why I don't want us to focus on cavalry.

I think that we will have to focus on cavalry sooner or later, after all we have this in cultural advantage. But i understand your point, so i'm okay to focus on infantry for the moment. But i think that light bow cavalry can always be useful, even if they don't kill them, by harassing them it can force the boars riders do follow them and not attack our troops. Especially if they are not disciplined.

@Neo-Chan what do you think about change light cavalry for heavy infantry ? And the others who voted for Plan: That's a lot of Moblins ?
I would have to redraw a large portion of the basic plan i came up with since it relied on having at least a few units capable of hit and run tactics but it is doable, i wouldn't recommend it but it is doable.

first of all. It says they scare at closer ranges, not at shooting range. Furthermore, boars have notoriously bad temper and it should be possible to agitate them into rampaging through their own ranks with otherwise harmless arrows. Furthermore, as far as I remember moblins also have boar riders and ground troops, both of which are a fair game.

Also, I would like to ask those who voted for Plan That's a lot of Moblins what do they think about switching sending scouts southeast for scouting the Lakes Hylia region for resources.

i will be honest i'm not sure about this, i think that light cavalry will be very useful on battle but if we are in defensive siege less directly.

personaly i'm for send one of them on lake Hylia for resources, but not use more than 2 authority points. We must continue to explore area to find Midna and other kingdoms. If we can manage an alliance it will be very useful.

I only asked what people thought about switching scouting towards the desert for scouting for resources, I did not say that we have to dump too much authority on it.

Hmm... Personaly i could fine with it. I would search the desert because it's generaly in this kind of desolate places that you find in reality interesting things but because there are resources at hylia lake i'm fine with it.

i'm for. We could make light cavalry for the next turn, if moblins attack sooner, heavy infantry could be more useful to hold the walls in siege.

mmm yeah, but to the southeast is not just desert... ITS MOUNTAINS! and what are mountains known to contain? ... mineral deposits... ergo.


ok just so people fully understand since I can't see you guys reading the action description.

scouting north: Likely reveal of people, ???.

scouting west: VERY likely reveal of people, ???.

Scouting northeast: likely meeting Kokiri province, wood resource sources, ???.

Scouting southeast: likely find emptiness, can scout for resources after with high likelihood of finding mineral deposits, ???.

Alright guy's i have changed the Calvary to the heavy unit's asked for and also changed the places were scouting since im assuming Midna isn't with the Kokri and if i have to plan for one more giant fuck you coming to smash us along with the moblins and the potential for suddenly Zelda im going to go into a frothing rage.

you need to use more AUTHORITAY!

seriously guys this is like the 4th turn I have mentioned this...

You don't need more actions Neo, you just need to choose which actions you spend multiple authority points on to use your remaining 6 authority.

ok ya.... this corrects it now, but you did not add the assign imperial authority actions to unit training beyond the hoplites originally and I can't remember seeing any others.

and by the way, to prevent confusion please add -[] assign 2 imperial authority

rather than -[] assign imperial authority

because that just makes it sound like its a regular action. also you can add more than 1 extra if you want.
