Not that much though. We should have atleast one day off at some point in the year. On that day, why did Tie not do the thing he had been wanting to do since he got to the Firenation, and go look at the Palace?
Heck, we could have done it via official channels, put in a request with Zukos Secretary (or equivalent) requesting a meeting. Even with a ton of Beurcratic nonsense, we would have gotten one some time that year.
I know he is. Hence, going through the proper channels. Even if our status as the Avatar doesn't grant us a fast pass into his itinerary, said itinerary is not so jam packed as to have no slots open for the next year.
And this is assuming we have to take the same measures to get a meeting as any citizen, which I doubt. The Avatar is an important figure that any member of royalty should want to met, and Zuko likes the Avatar making it even easier for us. Then there's the fact that we have the White Lotus's backing, and it would be in their own best interests of we build a favourable rapport with important people, not to mention the benefits of making us happy and thankful to them.
I meant afterward, after all sticking in one location can get very boring and repedative. Plus reaching for more long term goals after completing them seems like a good thing

Ah. Doesn't really change much, only MAYBE the "personally likes the Avatar" bit, and even if she's simply neutral Zuko could still set stuff up for us if he hears about us. She'd probably entertain her old dad if he asked her for us.

That ambition wouldn't be talking about her being the Firelord if she wasn't already the Firelord. Because think of it from Ties perspective. "I want to meet Fire Lord Zuko's Daughter, but only after she herself becomes the Fire Lord." That's silly.

Btw, Plan Hot Rock is the latest version of the plan, it changes the CP to Earth Scrolls, so we can get Rank 7 Earthbending, a net profit of roughly 3 CP and freeing us up to take the Rank 7 Firebending Ambition, which we would be very close to achieving, which Will get us another 27 CP (counting the CP from level ups).
You will probably want to update your vote to either the new plan, or a plan which does the CP you want.
Ok I´m presenting a new plan since we know that once we reach firebending level 6 we are leaving the Fire Nation, and since we still have all the midterm ambitions, which we need to be in the fire nation to fulfill, I propose to diversify our training and social actions this turn so we can buy some time until we fulfill our ambitions.
[X] Plan Take it Easy and fulfill our ambitions...
[X] Try to inform Huzzah there's an assassin following you.
-[X] Use Sandbending to write it on any table near him, erase it one he reads it
[X] Bid him goodbye and walk out of the kitchen through an exit on the other side. Thirty-eight seconds and loss of visual contact with the killer.
-[X] Run into Master Shiko's chambers and inform her very quickly about the situation. She's harsh, but she's fair and understands an emergency when she sees it. She'll protect you.
[X] Yang.
[X] Friends at school.
[X] Learn philosophy, culture, history, geography, and science from the White Lotus.
[X] Riding Roku.
[X] (Short-Term) Find out who's Vaatu. (+600 XP.)
[X] (Short-Term) Find out what the Red Lotus is. (+600 XP.)
[X] (-5 CP.) +10 Charisma.
[X] (-6 CP.) You have the dream of a red-eyed spirit and a man following after it.
[X] (-8 CP.) Huesar does something useful.
[X] (Free Action) Copy your Airbending scroll and send it to Tenzin in Republic city
I remain unconvinced that, even if we buy time, that Tie will complete them. He had 5840 hours of the year to pursue his ambitions, and he had at no point taken a measly 10 to go complete them. Ties Schedule might be full of stuff, but I doubt it's THAT full.

Not really. All he said "All things in time". I don't want to spend the next 5 years waiting, twiddling our thumbs until Tie just so happens to get off his ass. I think the most frusterating part is we can't vote to MAKE him.
Actually, I'm going to double check that. @Birdsie Can we use a Social Action to MAKE Tie finally go and pursue his Ambitions that he doesn't seem very keen on doing?
Ok since my plan Plan [] Take it Easy and fulfill our ambitions... has no love at all I am returning to my original plan, the idea is to get the level 7 of Earthbending ASAP, and take advantage of its ridiculously high amount of CP and Exp that goes with them
With this, we will get 16 TP from our actions and if we get a 71 or higher on the scroll roll we will get the level immediately
This plan leaves us with 5 CP, if we manage to get 1 extra CP via omakes I will add "[] (-6 CP.) You have the dream of a red-eyed spirit and a man following after it" to the vote, and in the unlikely case that case we manage to get 7 extra CP I will add another Earthbending scroll to the vote.

[X] Bid him goodbye and walk out of the kitchen through an exit on the other side. Thirty-eight seconds and loss of visual contact with the killer.
-[X] Draw the assassin somewhere where you have a fighting advantage and then surprise-attack him. The bastard won't even know what hit him, or failing that, you get to fight on your own terms. Worst case scenario: You enter the Avatar State and rip him a new one.
[X] Yang.
[X] Friends at school.
[X] Bending.
-[X] Earthbending. x2
[X] (Short-Term) Find out who's Vaatu. (+600 XP.)
[X] (Short-Term) Find out what the Red Lotus is. (+600 XP.)
[X] (-12 CP.) You find an earthbending scroll.

[X] (-6 CP.) You have the dream of a red-eyed spirit and a man following after it.
[X] (Free Action) Copy your Airbending scroll and send it to Tenzin in Republic city
Edit: I have modified the how to deal with the assassin vote, I propose to warn Huzzah and try to take hi,/her with his help, I have decided to do this because that seems like the fastest way of fulfilling our ambition of earning a reputation in the Fire Nation. (+7,000 XP, +8CP.), because defeating our first assassin at 9 would meake us
Do you like this change @DarkKing98@jonasquinn ?

If one really wants to get Earth 7 ASAP, it'd be better to get 2 scrolls. That pretty much garuntees it, and we come out with roughly a 3 CP Net Profit after the level ups and stuff. That will free us up for Fire 7, which we'd be close to accomplishing if we double up on that action. And since Birdsie said we will be finally getting to our ambitions next turn, there's no need to dilly dally.
I rather don't think defeating an assassin will get us a rep, if regularly getting chased around the city by the Guards (who Roku has a habit of paralizing) didn't get us one. Especially since said assassination attempt will probably be kept secret. That said... we kinda got meta knowledge that we will win, by virtue of us already voting on next turns votes. Might be better to face the person personally, in case he's NOT an Assassin or he decides to withdraw when we go to our Teacher, to keep us from looking stupid.

From a narrative point of view, I really loved the Book 3 of Avatar and I was disappointed of not visiting the Fire Nation in Korra.
From the purely mechanic point of view, we had the confirmation of the GM that we are going to get 2 midterm ambitions fulfilled next turn, possibly 3. So we can use those free ambition slots for this ambitions that can only be fulfilled in the Fire Nation and that are very easy to fulfill if we stay one more year and we train firebending [] (Mid-Term) See a Fire Nation circus show. (+6,000 XP, +7CP.) and [] (Mid-Term) Defeat Master Shiko in a friendly Agni Kai. (+2,000 XP, +6CP.)

I don't think the current set up would satisfy our narrative itch. The year-per-turn structure pretty much completely glosses over all of the unique aspects of the Fire Nation. The only part of the story from last turn that couldn't have happened anywhere in the world are the notes on weather and clothing.
Mechanically, similar ambitions will probably be present wherever we go. We could either hang around to see the circus, or go to Republic City and see a Probending Match, or go to the North Pole and watch a play, etc. So there isn't much need to accomplish them before we go mechanically.
As is, sticking around atleast does not appeal to me, since I have doubts to what we'd get, especially since we can only deal with year long chunks which represent huge portions of our life. And that is my main problem with sticking around, so much of our life is just slipping by. Though I now understand what you are seeking to get.

I understand what you mean, and I hope that once we finish our training montage we return to the 1 month turns...
And as I said I would have loved to take the two Earthbending scrolls this turn, but I have always prioritized the special events in any quest, and unless we get 7 extra CPs with omakes. I will take my chances with just one scroll...
You sat in the training yard, looking over the scrolls Tozah got you. Currently, you were studying the Earthbending Scroll he got you, puzzled. The stances and maneuvers described within did not sound like those of the Earthbending you know. They seemed to be emphasizing a strong steady stance, rooting yourself to the ground, and forcing your opponent to move rather than yourself. That wan't like Sandbending at all. Sandbending more emphasized flow and flexibility, ever shifting and sliding like the sands themselves. If you tried to stand your ground, you'd be worn down by the storm, if the ground didn't just slide out from beneath you.
In fact, as your eyes wandered from the Earthbending Scroll to the Waterbending one, you'd say that Sandbending has more in common with Waterbending than it does with Earthbending. Thinking on this, you get an idea. You stand up and make your way over to your Sand Pit (while you've figured out how to turn Dirt into Sand, you hadn't quite figured out how to turn it back, so the local gardeners prefer you to keep your sand-bending practice to one location), and settle into a stance described in the Water-bending Scroll. It was a technique called Octopus Form, where you gathered water around you into multiple long tendrils you can use to attack and defend with.
However, instead of Water, you used the Sand. You slowly wenth through the movement described, and began forming whips that you and Siph used to throw at each other, but this time instead of immediately launching it, you left it hanging, slowly waving through the air as you made more. Within a few moments, you were surrounded by a half dozen sand whips, slowly undulating through the air. You then snapped into movement, attacking imaginary enemies while blocking their attacks, focusing intently, imagining the Sand as if it were Water, applying the concepts of Change and Flow you had learned during your forays into Waterbending. As you practiced, it got easier, smoother, more fluid, and when you opened your eyes, you were surprised by the state of your sand. It hardly even looked like sand anymore, it was practically dust, the particles having broken up into smaller parts allowing for more smooth movement. Earth that was practically Water, for how it moved and flowed.
Taking another idea from Waterbending, you twisted your hands hardening and aligning the Dust back into Stone, as you would Water to Ice. Then you turned it back. It wasn't easy, and it took you a few minutes to get it each way, but this had possibilities. You imagined being able to treat the ground like an ocean, being able to dive in and out, and attack your opponents with giant inescapable waves. And then you were struck by another idea, if you could treat Earth like Water, could you treat Water like Earth, using the techniques you learned in Earthbending on Ice? And then another idea, could you use Airbending to amplify the Sand Storms you could make? Your head started buzzing with ideas, thinking of different ways the different Bendings related, and how they could be used together.
You had to stop your practice, and go meditate. Your mind is too full of ideas, and you need to think them over, and sort them out, before you could even hope of focusing on practicing again. So you sweeped all the scattered sand back into your Sand Pit, dusted yourself off with a good stomp, collected the scrolls, and went back to your room. There was a lot of potential here.
Something I have fun thinking about, and is a fairly consistent theme in Avatar, so I decided to write it out. 604 words.
