Would you be willing to switch your votes over to Plan Not Today Murder Beast? Your plans unfortunately don't have much chance of winning, but Not Today, which still has us running, does.

or were using the plan required chi point based stat based boost to charisma to try and salvage the situation and not get a giant spirit wolf dog that can probably outrun sato mobiles given that were in the spirit world.
...I'm not sure if you're deliberately omitting parts of Plan Not Today to make it look worse, or just making more poorly though out arguments.

-[] Flee. (And use bending to create obstacles for Fushi as you escape.)
Flee clearly states that we're using Earthbending to put obstacles in Fushi's way to slow it down as we run, and the plan is heavily boosting the stats that it runs off of.

[X] Earthbend walls to box Fushi in. Then shrink the walls to force him down to a smaller size.
Renegotiation on the other hand isn't, when we're trying to trap Fushi with Earthbending, and is only boosting our Charisma and Wisdom bonuses by 1.

If we can't trap Fushi, said boosts will be of little use.

You do realize that the five chi points only say they boost by two just like renegotiation and I still feel like trying to ease tensions with a spirit powerful or influential enough to have a murder beast under it's thumb is a good idea to try

Yes, and you obviously don't realize that said boost by two is what a single CP gives us.

Spending 5 CP gives us +10 to a stat.

So that's +10 to Str and Con, and +1 to Dex in Plan Not Today.

Nice job ignoring the rest of my response by the way.

One I do not intend to change my vote two your comment on my statements thought level was rude.
Three running from a murder beast is difficult enough without possibly flubbing an earthbending roll which we also have a tendence to do well on probably better if we aren't hauling ass while doing it. Four spirits are vindictive assholes and it might have the murder beast manifest and hunt us like the forest spirit in avatar that dragged off sokka

what about the other two points if you have such outstanding mental capacity or insight
You're repeating yourself with three, I've all ready explained why running is mechanically better because of the stat boosts, and we could just as easily flub the roll to wall in Fushi.

Four is nothing but you making assumptions, we don't even know if it can manifest outside of the jungle.

Rolls Nat 20

King laughs and denies request

Get pissed off

Attack Spirit king

Spirit king gets pissed

Orders murder beast to attack

Now tell me people who want to renegotiate, if we manage to contain the murder beast, what part of that sequence of events would have opened him up to the idea of agreeing with us?

his attack dog being contained, us trying to explain it calmly and acknowledging that we fucked up by losing our temper might mollify its pride

He wasn't willing to agree in a good mood. And here is something to think about. Murder Beast is under his control. So in theory, he's either got someone stronger than murder beast if we stop him, or he's stronger than us and attack us. I can guarantee one thing. This bridge has burnt, and any further action we do, no matter what, will just piss him off more.

Also note our previous luck with most Charisma rolls. 99 chances out of 100 we are going to fail it again.

Thank you. Appreciate you being here.
i just like the idea of being a negotion before skull cracking idea ,and spirits are in most mythologies especially eastern from little i know, are vindictive as hell. but maybe down the road we can find a nicer spirit to mediate or make it so if our tribe has to go through the forest that theyre not slaughtered by a murder beast

Eh, it's not even a guarantee that we'll be able to convince our tribe, who currently views us as crazy for keeping a wild animal with us, to move into a 'spirit infested jungle at the bottom of a hole' anyways. So, if we can't make any deals here, not a total lost.

Also, if the spirits haven't left the spirit world yet, I doubt they will now. More than likely we will just be in danger whenever we pop up through this part of it. But with level 6 Earthbending, I'm certain it'll be a high enough AC with us that we should be safe.

we should really look into non bending kungfu just to be safe so if were ever pulled into it without bending or at least diplomacy and anger management

All three would be good to look into.

Chi blocking especially.

That, and we need to figure out energy bending since that solves the bullshit with not being able to bend in the spirit world.
