If it all works out, we'll be able to purchase her a Super. If it won't, we still have enough to mutual-purchase Primordial Legacy. Or something else.

We can afford to not sink our EXP wholesale right now, after all.
You and I, my friend, are playing two different games. Though in my opinion, both of these ideas hold merit.

Hmmm. Oh well, sometimes anticlimax is for the best.

We can't join minds with Ana yet, soooo...

I want so see if Mistress of the Tide can be on the table, and it costs 700 xp. So here's a conservative plan:

[X] EXP-Plan Moonrise (730 EXP)
-[X] Moonlight Scepter 5-10 (350 EXP)
-[X] Radiant Conductor (180 EXP)
-[X] Shining Protector (200 EXP)

If it all works out, we'll be able to purchase her a Super. If it won't, we still have enough to mutual-purchase Primordial Legacy. Or something else.

We can afford to not sink our EXP wholesale right now, after all.
[] EXP-Plan Radiant Shine Unbroken
-[] Solar Blessing 5 -> 10 (350)
-[] Sunlight Scepter 10 -> 11 (100)
-[] Radiant Shine Unbroken (650)
for 1100 EXP we can get sun a super guaranteed.
We also could go for the last upgrade in the mental connection for 650 XP (also a super).

We have a lot of choice where to spend things currently.

You know you can just bank them until you unlocked Ana's max-level sheet, right?

That much is true, but can you really see all the players keeping their patience with EXP burning our hands and so many Shop Items - including two supers - visible?

With Ana's character sheet locked out behind "actions that need to be taken" - I don't.

If you can not even follow through for what you want yourself, it is no wonder that no one else would even try.

I will not stop you.

I'll do something I haven't done in a while. Make some alt plans for others to choose from.

[] Plan Clean up Shop [1380]
-[] Moonlight Scepter: Judgement [100]
-[] Radiant Conductor [180]
-[] Otherworldly Radiance [300]
-[] Shining Protector [200]
-[] Primordial Legacy [300]
-[] Primordial Legacy [300]

[] Plan Spell Frenzy [1400]
-[] Soothing Moonlight Level 10 [170]
-[] Scorching Sunlight level 10 [90]
-[] Baleful Eclipse Level 10 [300]
-[] Supernova Level 10 [420]
-[] Become Whole Again Level 10 [420]

[] Plan Nice and 10 [1610]
-[] Soothing Moonlight Level 10 [170]
-[] Scorching Sunlight Level 10 [90]
-[] Baleful Eclipse Level 10 [300]
-[] Moonlight Scepter Level 10 [350]
-[] Solar Blessing Level 10 [350]
-[] Shell of Light Level 10 [350]

[] Plan A Need for Speed [1480]
-[] Flight Level 11 [490]
-[] Flight Level 11 [490]
-[] Speed Gap [500]

If anyone has any suggestions, go ahead.

[X] Even though you did not know any of the girls, you feel like you should attend the funeral.
[X] Check on White Glory; she knows no one else here, so she may like a friend or two
[X] Soldier Supreme should be awake by now. You kind of kidnapped her, so maybe you should go and say sorry for that?

[X] EXP-Plan Fixing The Connection
-[X] Absolute Connection - 650 XP
-[X] Primordial Legacy(Sun) - 300 XP
-[X] Primordial Legacy(Moon) - 300 XP
70/1,620 XP left

Personally I'm focused on fixing the last connection issue.
As per previous Word of GM, the Absolute Connection is:
-A Super Ability
-Will not remove individuality or otherwise harm personality
-Will be interesting to write/see
-Some of the identity mixups were caused by an imperfect connection. A properly working connection should no more have identity issues than you would with your car.

So why not get it while we're in a mini downtime period after an adventure? Give the girls time to figure out the new differences.
In particular, their Synchronized bonus is one of the best things going for them, so lets take it to the final step.

Well, this changes things somewhat. I was expecting more of a trickle of XP. This way, we can afford to outright buy more things.

[X] EXP-Plan Fixing The Connection - Glimpse Variation
-[X] Absolute Connection - 650 XP
-[X] Primordial Legacy(Moon) - 300 XP

I think we shouldn't get both primordial legacies immediately. Getting one lets us see if it's worthwhile. Also, Moon's the one who actually needs it if separated. Sun has almost no need of healing (if it bypassed her defense, she's probably dead) and would make a reasonably strong MG alone, whearas moon is almost lacking in damage while alone. So we should get hers first and save the rest of the XP till we see what it does.

I still think we should get these:
Me said:
a Veil level or two
1 Rico scepter level (Boosts mm over 10k and lets her survive ~20-30k damage without radiance. May add another level or two depending on veil levels)
radiant conductor, otherworldly radiance, and Shining protector
The rest of Radiant Shine unbroken.

But we can afford to buy those later. We aren't mid-fight, so we can spread out our purchases over a few updates.

If anyone has any suggestions, go ahead.
Here's another one for the list. An alternative Clean Up Shop.

[] EXP Plan Attacking and Tanking
-[] (Sun) Purchase Sunlight Scepter: Spellslinger (350 EXP)
-[] (Sun) Purchase Speed Gap (500 EXP)
-[] (Sun) Level Up Solar Blessing 5 -> 6 (50 EXP)
-[] (Moon) Purchase Radiant Conductor (180 EXP)
-[] (Moon) Purchase Otherworldly Radiance (300 EXP)
-[] (Moon) Purchase Shining Protector (200 EXP)

Total Spent: 1580 EXP
Remaining: 40 EXP

Could also the level in Solar Blessing to save an extra 50 EXP, but I included that for the sake of making progress towards the prereq of Radiant Shine Unbroken.

On the defensive side of things, this plan gives Moon an ability that will probably make her harder to hurt and an ability that will probably let her prevent other people from getting hurt.

On the offensive side of things, it gives Moon an ability that can modify the damage dealt by either girl's attacks and makes it so that Sun can cast two spells in a single action instead of one.

It also grants an expensive mystery box ability for Sun. Probably either offensive or evasive in nature, either of which would be useful.

I like this plan reasonably well, but why spellslinger? it adds damage equivelant to a single spell cast, which is exactly equivalent to leveling Scorching Sunlight once. It helps if casting multiple spells, but our other spell isn't really useful enough to justify it.

that could have gone so wrong

but then it didn't!

flawless victory!

For one thing, it's a lot more controllable than leveling up a spell. Since we can choose not to use it.

Armor Removal on Scorching Sunlight also means that the second cast will do extra damage if it gets casted twice in a single action on the first turn. Also much harder to dodge than a single powerful spell.

And with a bit of practice it can let Sun shoot spells at two different targets in the same attack, which is very good for when we're outnumbered.

Additionally, it could also let us cast either Baleful Eclipse or Scorching Sunlight at the same time as Supernova, allowing us to both damage and Dazzle a target in the same attack.

Lastly, since it's an ability, buying it might reveal further shop items.

[X] EXP-Plan Fixing The Connection

Because of our great amount of exp I would rather level up enough for Ricos super-ability, together with a few flight levels and more of Evas defensive abilitys.
I believe that if we level up our possessed things a bit, we would most likely be strong enough to defeat most enemys we will encounter in the future. (Not just after this level up but the next too.)
Eva is a tank and therefore we should specialize her towards that and specialize Rico more towards damage.

[X] EXP-Plan "dont be a Jack of all trades" (1510)
-[X] Solar Blessing 5 -> 10 (350)
-[X] Sunlight Scepter 10 -> 12 (210)
-[X] Radiant Shine Unbroken (650)
-[X] Flight (both) 4 -> 5 (100)
-[X] Shining Protector (200)

I dont like to directly burn nearly all EXP, because we dont know how much we can earn in the future, but we need some leveled up things and we did fall behind with too many things.
Next I would do a few more points into flight (speed is really important) and maybe into the spells we already have.

Now to the Vote what we will do:

[X] Even though you did not know any of the girls, you feel like you should attend the funeral.
(Because it would be rude not attending that. I dont know if others will dislike us for that, but most likely our standing (reputation) within kibo would suffer.)

[X] Explore the sewers by yourselves; there has to be something neat there
(They appered far too often and within every vote within kibo... that must mean something.)

[X] Take a walk through the city; no set goal, just some time to breathe and relax
(First the girls will need a break sometimes and second with that many interesting and promising votes this is somewhat strange AND there will most likely something happen. We missed enough already, dont want to miss even more. :lol)

[X] EXP-Plan "dont be a Jack of all trades" (1620)
-[X] Solar Blessing 5 -> 10 (350)
-[X] Sunlight Scepter 10 -> 12 (210)
-[X] Radiant Shine Unbroken (650)
-[X] Flight (both) 4 -> 5 (80)
-[X] Shining Protector (200)
-[X] Veil of the lunar Goddess 13 -> 14 (130)

I like this plan's idea, but:

1. It makes scepter detonate hurt eva (on a good/bad roll or radiance, which may be permenant with RSU.)
2: flight costs 40 each, so 80 total.

So you should probably switch one scepter level with a veil level.

Thx did a mistake with flight and now I can buy another level of the veil.

I want to see what Speed Gap and Shining Protector do before investing in flight speed/high-speed combat.

See if those abilities help Moon throw herself in the path of attacks aimed at allies or help Sun evade stuff.

Plan Need for Speed was made in the mindset of completely removing any speed concerns we may have for the extremely foreseeable future.

Speed gap is rather expensive and we need flight too if the enemy is faster than us. If he is too fast we wont be able to keep up or hitting them even if we can evade him.
Thats why a few flight levels would be necessary or at least would be REALLY helpful.

Naturally pouring everything into flight wouldnt be that bad but we need the EXP for other things too.

My point is that we don't know what Speed Gap does.

It could do something like letting Sun get in melee range of her enemies no matter how fast they are, or it could give a big bonus when Sun is a lot faster than her enemy, or it could let her move faster when dodging, etc.

I just want to make sure that it isn't something that makes Flight levels less useful before investing in Flight.

Same thing with Shining Protector. If it lets Moon throw herself in the path of attacks aimed at allies (even if she'd normally be too slow to do so), or if it makes it so that whenever an ally gets hurt the HP is deducted from Moon instead of from that ally, then the benefits of raising Flight are reduced.

Those scenarios don't make raising Flight useless, but they do make raising it less useful than it would be otherwise.
