[ ] Write-in:
-[ ] Get the other fleets active and secure the corridor that used to prevent the forces we commit from being cut off if there is immediate reaction from the Rachni, and use the explorer fleet to strengthen our main point of defences be prepared for either a rachni or salarian action, in case they try something while we commit our forces.

Covers our bases commits to the attack and prevents easy cut off if it is a trap and if the fleets are active puts them in position to reinforce use of the attacking fleet if necessary, while leaving at least a mild force combined with our fortifications for if any defence is required and if the corridor is secure can consolidate defense next turn.

-[X] Go with Raiding doctrine; Namal is to insert Beshkar and 1st Raiding fleet into Nubian Expanse. Subsequently 1st battle fleet is to hold and fortify the relay (bring the stations stationed at that Relay along), and the 1st Raiding fleet is to strike high-value targets.

wouldn't this be the default option?

Are we sure it is not a trap by Rachni?
Yes.
The GM made it clear OOC that we only got this interrupt because we rolled well on a background roll
Oh, look, you found what was going on behind the curtain. Y'know, what with me rolling that 93 and everything.
So it's genuine

Furthermore,
1) We pinged Rachni fleet concentrations; there is nothing like the buildup in neighboring clusters you'd expect in a Rachni stratagem
Not that there is any history of Rachni stratagems of this sort
2) The Rachni do not know how many ships we have, and they are in a down cycle post-offensive.
Given how they've lost three dreads in Attican Beta alone, they're going to be a little cautious.
3) Coordinating across multiple clusters is HARD, even with comm buoys.
Even with intra-cluster telepathy.

They are assaulting the Hades Nexus so I assumed that they wanted to meet up in the Nexus.

Having reread the wording it looks like they are talking about punching through the Nexus and grouping up with us to hit the Expanse which honestly dosen't make sense to me.

Shouldn't they be planning to clear out the three clusters they cut off? Unless they think they're not worth their time and would prefer to hit the systems connected to the main force of the rachni or know about the Quarians.
I'm going out on a limb here, but judging from the fact you said 'three clusters they cut off', I think you might have mistaken Hades Gamma for Hades Nexus. Hades Gamma is next to Attican Beta and is not involved in this. Hades Nexus is next to the Expanse, and if the three relevant systems are taken (Expanse, Hades Nexus and Phoenix Massing), then the number of fronts is not increased. It's actually decreased in a certain sense.

Well, we'd being going for the Nubian sooner or later anyway, if we wanted to link up with the forces of the Terminus Joint Fleets. And it occurs to me that adding a (slightly used, somewhat dented) battle fleet could only help. Even if we take losses from the coming battle, as do they.

This is President Banari Su'val of Omega, sitting Joint Commander of the Terminus Joint Fleets. As of three weeks ago, we began an offensive with the aim of punching through to to the Hades Nexus. If Virmirean forces are in position to strike at the Nubian Expanse, we might be able to link up."
It's interesting that Terminus Joint Fleets are trying to break through to the Hades Nexus.

If we can link up with the TJF we could have 2 visiting fleets in our territory. Hella strain on our logistics, but we'd be in a good position to attempt at reconnecting with the council/hegemony. That or a position to connect to Rannoch in some capacity.
