Two men are thrown through a portal to a part of the world neither of them recognizes. One is a man out of time, still fighting for an ideal future. The other is a man molded by the past, dedicated to ensuring his kind never endures what he did.
But what neither of them counted on was a chance meeting. And, perhaps much more importantly... a chance to talk.
They say life has many doors. Death, apparently, has one too. One that has placed him into a unique position he rather not be in.
You've seen it before, folks. OC story. Not an SI, though, but definitely an OC. What's the difference? Well, I don't have enough ego to write myself into someone else's original work, for once.

Despite what many would believe, the universe does not care about what direction time flows, only that it does. The only ironclad rule was that the world line must be respected. Midoriya Izuku thought that his quirk was a party trick at most, and soon fell out of his childhood notion of being a hero. But when he finds that his power is so much more than he'd thought... Perhaps orderly dreams do not always have to decay into disorder.
...Or, Izuku has a huge mindfuck for a quirk.
