I dont dislike them. i just think theyd clash with the more Pulpy, Weird West Heroes in Victorian England chronicle im going to be running. Just tired of Grimdark games and stories.

I will admit that my comment on Metis was a bit extreme though.
For the game you are running, I propose a similar solution to the question of Red Talon or Wendigo Garou showing up. If they are too malformed or distinctive to make the trip on the run then they have no reason (or rather way) to show up. The prematurely bald person (or even the one who never doffs his hat) can fit a lot better than the person with horns.

I honestly adore ES's idea for Talents and Training, but it makes complete sense to me why it isn't the kind of thing usually implemented in these games.

Being Metis can be seen as a Divine Affliction, it is both Curse and Gift in one.

You would never be jealous of a Metis, and would never deign to make one your leader.
Not even if they were the most powerful individual in your Sept.
But they will always have your pity, respect, and sometimes even reverence.

...And then there are the assholes that just don't give a shit and treat them like trash.

My mind actually went to, like, some sort of Pocahantas thing, despite it not being the right time-frame.

Imagine if Pocahantas was a Werewolf.
Pocahantas was a Werewolf?
It's a wonderful and hilarious thought :p  :p

Better still plotline can roughly be recycled to any corner of Empire?
Hazzuh for Britannia having a finger in all pies!

...so does this mean that when Pocahontas was singing about all the spirits she interacted with, she was being literal and it was just that John Smith wasn't either a Mage or a Werewolf?

Isn't literally speaking to (and singing with) spirits a thing werewolves do?

Probably.

Anyone know about some w20 fetishes that arent in Wyld West, Rage Across The World, Changing Breeds, or Core for player characters?

Maybe some fetish old west guns for my American Werewolves in London chronicle?

(I likes the name so much its the chronicle now!)

LeMat Revolver - Wikipedia

LeMat Revolver also doubles for shotgun and everyone knows that shotguns dominate close quarters in World of Darkness.

Winchester Model 1887/1901 - Wikipedia

Speaking of shotguns might as well go rapid fire via lever action!

Punt gun - Wikipedia

Punts guns for shotguns you don't even really need to bother aiming with.

Colt Buntline - Wikipedia

Colt Buntline for anyone who is overcompensating for anything.

Mauser C96 - Wikipedia

Mauser C96 came out in 1896 if you're needing to see a SMG. (Technocrats probably get em a bit earlier :p)

Gatling gun - Wikipedia

Possible maximum Gatling for when bad guys use heavy firepower to kick werewolf ass.

The Mauser C96 handgun of 1896 is semi-automatic. The fully automatic variants weren't designed until 1930.

That's a really broad question.
Mechanically, I think Book of Spirits has some spooky spirit diseases you can use as a model.

Yeah, I meant mechanically. To see whether it actually works and if it would therefore be portable for my homebrew. I mean, for one, it has several diseases I'd need to work out, including a Plague-a-like. Different symptoms, same disgusting and world-disfiguring mortality. :p

Please remember Elephant Guns for anything related to Victorians, werewolves, and firearms.
So when Elephants have about 20 HP does a round capable of downing it with one shot do +20 damage?

Thanks for correction because information can be ammunition!

No, you just be not-stupid and don't give elephants 20HLs
Not my fault White Wolf maths are silly if taken seriously :p

No, you just be not-stupid and don't give elephants 20HLs, because the human-scale HL system does not scale up to large size well and an elephant, for example is actually quite vulnerable to shock and perfectly normal rifle bullets (and bleeding out).
Not so vulnerable to swords and getting downed by poke of a str +4 Bastard Sword that would be hilarious in other direction.
Elephant standard World of Darkness HP works for melee but certainly not guns.
Where do you draw balance not ending with players laughing at you?
