Shepard Quest Mk V, Base of Operations (ME/MCU)

[X] Letter of the law. Produce 100,000 Arc Reactors for the Citadel market. Let Lindsey handle the rest of your available production capabilities.
[X] Madfish
[X] Long-term relationship. Also? Look into inventing better communications and teleportation. Are you a genius or not? As if such trivi a l things as hundreds of lightyears of space could stop you from speaking to peolle you like.
--[X] Before he leaves, however, enjoy the last of your physical time together. Have a (private) party! Have fun! And then encourage him to find himself in the wider galaxy.

For research:
[X] Peak Human
[X] The improved warhead
[X] Advanced neural interface
[X] Minituarized energy weapons (overflow)

I'll assign dice in the , orning, when I can run the calcs. The idea is to render new generation of tanks as vulnerable as the previous is to our warheads, and then work on preparatory work for completely paradigm-changing Mk2.

Peak Human is for global implementation.

[x] All out. Produce every last arc reactor you can. Everyone wants them, everyone is willing to pay a premium, and it's not like the Alliance can't buy them on the open market if they want to keep ahead. Plus, you'll fulfil your quota ahead of time this way.
-[x] Increase the profit margin to our standard amount. (So sell them for 2.5x cost.)
[x] UberJJK
[x] Clean break. Continue as if nothing has changed until he actually ships out.
[x] Headhunt a research hero (this will not necessarily come into fruition immediately).
-[x] Energy shields
[x] Look into starting a Private Military Company.
Research!
[X] Peak Human (212/400)(30d10+55) (98.08%)
[x] Improved Warhead (150):(30d10+10) (83.69%)
[x] Mk II Suit (500) (80d10+105) (96.17%)
[x] Frigates (400) (Overflow)

Building stuff:
[x] Break ground on 6 Factory IIIs, elsewhere on mindoir
[x] Upgrade our Factory I and our factory II to Factory IIIs

I'm holding off on miniaturized lasers until we have at least the hero for shields to block them. Super alloys is a good sink project, and I want it before we start building ships.

Derp. I messed up with a factor of 2. The council only wants you to build 150,000.

Ah. Well that's fine then.

150,000 only takes 45,000 production, 15k per quarter.

Speaking of which do we have to spread the limit out over the year or can we do it all say in the first half?

For instance this year we could spend say 30k production now and then 15k next quarter leaving plenty of spare production at the end of the year for the Tiger.

Not sure about the rest.

Bybthe way, could anyone make a dice pool and project list files for my dice probability calculator? That would be useful. Thanks.

@Esbilon, I guessed earlier that the reference was from Harry potter, book 4. Is this correct, or is it from elsewhere?

So we have a lot of money this turn... ^.^

So lets break ground on 5 Factory IIIs, and a shipyard.

Edit: Added that to my plan, for those interested.

Praise from Mordin makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :)

[X] Long distance. It never always works in the movies!

[X] learn to fly an aircar from mom and dad.

[X] Superalloys (800) (Overflow two)

You know, if Brian gets good enough in the Alliance Military (N7 maybe?) Alliance Intelligence is bound to snatch him up as a new member and then send him right back to Mindoir to work for Paragon Industries as a security member for Shepherd if our importance keeps increasing. Alliance Intel no doubt knows that Brian is a close friend, and they'd want their own eyes and ears in Shepherd's 'inner circle' for the lack of a better word, and a contingency in case someone tries to harm or kidnap Shepherd.

How many credits do we have available to spend? Couldn't find that posted anywhere. I'd like to break ground on all the production and research buildings we have left to build on Mindoir ASAP.

As Well, what do we need to do to prepare for setting up on a second planet? we've got numbers / timeline and whatnot, but it seems like we should be telling our legal department to look into where would be favorable. We should also have some biz dev & lobby people talking to the various colony governments and corporations looking for sweet deals / incentives. Considering how much revenue and employment we could bring to a planet, the governments should be completely willing to give us sweetheart deals.

Brian is kinda set up to be our Rhodey, only with romance involved. He needs to get some combat experience as a normal soldier, but if he survives that there's very little chance he won't be involved with us somehow.

Would it be possible to adapt Basic Genemodding and Peak Human for aliens at some point, or would that require a Research Hero specializing in xenobiology like Mordin or Maelon (or maybe even Okeer)?

Updates:
Tech Tree

-> Updated Advanced Blackboxing/FRM to Completed
-> Updated Advanced Fire Control to Completed
-> Updated Peak Human to Started at 212/400
-> Updated Flawless Blackboxing/FRM to Available.

Finance Doc
-> Recorded 1 million spent on Legal Expert In the P&L under Legal Expenses
-> Recorded hiring of 5 Ex-Marine security teams in the Enumerated Assets.
-> Recorded the production of 100 Legionary suits for our new security teams

-> Recorded work commencing on the construction of Research Lab's II and III.

-> Undone production of Legionary Suits for new security teams. Reason - Lack of Funds.

I think that's everything.

"Flawless Black Boxing" means that even the fucking Geth, the Reapers, the Catalyst and its still surviving Leviathan makers will have MAJOR problems in reverse-engineering Revy's tech. And by ME-verse standards, these guys are the local version of First Ones.
Nah. It says Citadel races.

I'm on my phone, so I'll let someone else do the dice allocation, but research seems like it should be Frigates, Peak Human, and Advanced Neural Interface/Miniaturized Lasers - we can finish all that this turn, and start massive construction + splurging for Flawless FRM the next. We should have it by the time our new facilities come online.

PMC and Research Hero seem obvious.

We have the cash right now to upgrade on Mindoir, and can't start a shipyard yet anyways. We make enough next quarter for colonial expansion, so we can spend it here this turn.

I think UberJJK's design is better - don't need to make things too complicated.

You would think we should be able to at least buy a research cost reduction. Knock off a quarter to a half of the research cost if we have all of the data that is stuff currently in use. A base to work off of.
It's only 400 points. You can assume we have already done that.

We already had this conversation not that long ago. By simple fact of the sheer number of changes required by our new technology the existing Frigate data is at best useless and at worse actively harmful.

Sorry; could you please remind me how expansion onto other planets works, again?
Specifically, even if we fully max out our groundside production capabilities on Mindoir, we'd still have about 3 billion credits left.
IIRC there were some restrictions about building laboratories on other planets that were somehow tied to what we had already built?
