With an Arc reactor attached, the Cain can fire multiple times for example.
 
the main problem the Citadel seems to have with DEWs is the Lensing, we can already make point defense DEWs (the US Navy expects to have them in service during 2015 according to History Channel), but the Citadel claims DEWs have bad range (patently false when ALL their ranges suck) and apparently the Salarian GUARDIANs burn out rapidly

A surprising number of people actually want this. I can't tell you if I'm actually doing it as it takes the Secret bit out of the equation, but I find it funny that my joke idea was so appealing to people.

Problem is that we really only get to see Cerberus in three operation modes in ME. ME1 you see some fuck ups that need to be cleaned up and with a good black group that's all you see if that. ME2 had then as team Humanity First! (Others are fine as long as they are in second place). Though they were trying really hard to sell themselves to you. ME3 you see Cerberus after they go off the deep end. So yeah a bit more nuance to Cerberus is par for the course I hope.

Conrad is happy with a Salary of 100,000 credits a quarter (400,000 per year), Inspired by Revy he now donates half of it to children's charities. Most of the rest sits in his bank account as he tends to be far to busy in the lab.

In other news update done, its currently exactly 1500 words long. I'm tossing it out to those lovely fellows who offered to double check me to double check. After that I'll be trying to get an new thread started with the update. Until then feel free to keep talking about things here.

For threats remember that Sovereign is still out there and he will
take action with how Revy has upturned the board because;
previously, everyone was sticking close to the ME trap but
with Revy actions everyone will be pushing hard for any
advantage they can create.

That Navy ship is a science project, not a real weapon. You can tell because they only ordered one; if it was real they'd order several. It's just a way to funnel money to some general's pet contractor, and let said general play around with laser weapons. I have a few friends who work and have worked in DEWs for Northrop and the like who all are convinced we'll never see practical DEWs in our lifetimes. The stuff you see on TV is the same dog and pony show the generals see: very pretty and inspiring, but in reality it's mostly smoke and mirrors.
