[x] If we have one, get rid of the cape
[x] Talk to Kyoko about strategy. Stay alert and focused. Don't attack familiars unless one makes a move first.
 
...Really need some free time to do experiments.
Be an actual knight and trade up that flimsy cloth for some actual armor. Plus a helmet Oktavia style.

I'm guessing the only way to get free time is to skip school or something.

    You begin looking around...and so far, there's nothing. Just piles of fucking garbage...that's about to be incinerated.

    [x] Talk to Kyouko about strategy.

    "Need some kind of plan." You murmur, as you ditch the cape. Quickly, without much of a pause, you try transforming something else over it...only for it to wind up being a cape. "Oh, come on!"

    "If you wanna get rid of that, you might have to ask the furball about it." She says. "Or find a way to make it unobtrusive."

    "I keep thinking of how I might get strangled with this thing!" You say. "It's like...disaster waiting to happen!" You sigh. "Well...do you have a plan?" You try ditching the cape again...and immediately you realize that the cape was there partially to cover your shoulders and collarbone. "Huh." You murmur. "I don't like how that feels." You form a cape again. "I really need to find another solution."

    "Well, other than 'not die', I don't have one." She says. "And besides, if this one's weak enough, it shouldn't be too much of a problem." Just as she says that, she then proceeds to tap a button by the furnace with one bad move of her spear.

    Suddenly, heat floods the room, as the piles of trash collapse thanks to the blast of heat. In front of you, a witch rises above, with two choppy-looking balls of flaming paper surrounding it. The witch itself is a ball of fire with a flame that burns a bright orange. In it, you can see the faint outline of a doll's head, and its center seems to contain a tiny sphere.


    Looks like you just found the witch that owns this labyrinth. The creature itself isn't much bigger than you are, but it's moving very, very quickly. You can see it twitching as soon as you see it, like it's about to move any second now.

    Piercing attacks to hit one little point isn't a great idea, but getting into melee range against an intelligent (sort of) ball of fire is a worse one. Unless we can learn to telekinetically slice with our thrown swords, that'd be sweet.
     
    Looks like a Lost Soul from Doom, or perhaps a Bomb type enemy from Final Fantasty.

    I'm guessing that the small fireballs are the familliars and the witch can generate an almost infinite amount of them by setting the trash in the room on fire. I'm thinking ranged attacks coupled with Kyouko's chain wall to keep it from dodging here. Or perhaps Kyouko's extendo-spear.

    Like Guile said, getting into melee ranged with what amounts to be living supernatural fire seems like a bad idea.

    ...You guys want to go looking for a fire extinguisher in a chemical plant that just exploded and may go off again as the fire reaches new sections of the building?




    Are you guys freaking nuts? The inside of the barrier's probably safer than it is outside at the moment! Even if it wasn't, Sayaka has no idea about the layout of this building and there's no guarantee she'll just stumble across one like she did at the mall.

    It'd be hilarious if it worked... but yeah, this.
     
    I'd like to say that me liking that post is not me voting for it, it's me finding the idea amusing.

    I think I'll abstain here. Can't think of what to do.

    Then unlike it and re-like it when the vote passes, because unless Nitro changes those [x]'s to joke votes, it's valid and going to get used despite it being monstrously stupid.
