    It's kinda delicious, really. You haven't eaten here before but now you have. It's nice and creamy, with just the right texture to make it oh so deli...wait you have more important things to go over.

    You take a bite of your ice cream. "So...how can I improve my abilities and skills and stuff?"

    "Other than practice and killing witches?" Homura says. "Well, you can always try it on inanimate objects. Go to the junkyard and improve your aim. Perhaps you can throw your swords more efficiently." She takes a bite of her cone, and for a second she smiles a bit.

    "...Did you just smile?"

    "It's good." She says, before she gulps. Almost immediately, she's back to her serious self. "Either way, just practice. There's really nothing else I can tell you. My own weapons and abilities are completely different from yours so honestly, I can't say much else."

    You're still reeling over the fact that you just saw Homura smile...before you shake your head and get back to talking. "Alright."

    "You have melee weapons, right?" She says.

    "Yeah." You say.

    "Just make a weapon you can use repeatedly." Homura says. "That's all that I can honestly say to you."

    "...So no spamming?"

    "Spamming?" She looks confused. "How do you...is 'Spam' even a verb?"

    "Yes." You say. "It's when you use the same attack repeatedly over and...you know what, I'm getting off track." You sigh. "So okay, rely on my strength and don't spawn my weapons as much." You say.

    Homura nods. "That's all there is to it, honestly. Really, magical girl abilities and weapons vary wildly. I've seen ones like Mami's, and I've seen ones where their weapons are just gauntlets that they can launch off of their wrists."

    "So it varies completely and you really can't help me."

    She nods, and with a final bite, she's done with her ice cream. Yours is almost done; you just have a few bites left.

    Unknown. Bare-floor minimum of 10 (from the timlines in side comics), but could reasonably be anywhere from 10 to hundreds.

    ho boy. This is gonna be one of those Quests. I mean I kiiiiinda figgered with it being PMMM and all but...sheesh.

    Also turning on Closed Captions during the viewing is hilarious.
     
    Man, I feel bad for Homura. The timelines where Sayaka is friendly must be the worst since Homu just knows the blueberry is going to bite it in the worst way possible.

    Her mental development will have been very odd; on the one hand, she's experienced 20-something years of existence. On the other, about a third of that has been the same month repeated over and over, and she hasn't gone through the normal parts of that stage of development (changes in body and hormones, etc). So... hard to say.

    You say in English, with a fake accent. It sounds terrible, honestly, but you're definitely more fluent than girls your age. So that's a plus.

    Homura blinks. "I didn't know that you could speak English."

    "I don't know that much, honestly." You rub the back of your head.

    Homura nods slowly. "You're welcome." She says, but she still looks incredibly wary.

    You frown. "You really are cynical." You say. "Come on, we'll make it!" You grin. "I mean, seriously."

    [x] Arcade time.

    "Heck, we can go to the arcade! That should be fun!"

    "I guess we could do that." Homura says without so much as a shrug.

    -[x] Drag Homura along. Prove UDaBes at DDR.

    You grab her hand and start running over to the nearby arcade. She keeps pace with you rather easily, and you both rush over to the arcade. On the machine, you can see someone doing a dance at DDR, just as they finish. When they put in their name (Anko), she just smirks, sticks some Pocky into her mouth and walks off to the side to play a different game.

    You walk up to see "Anko" in first place on the scoreboard. You smirk. "Heh. Maybe I can beat it."

    Homura raises an eyebrow, but doesn't say anything.

    "Lessdodis!"
