SayakaQuest Thread 10: Glory To The Death

Anyway. Doesn't Homura's timestop violate moment conservation? We could just timestop right before this thing hits the ground, quickly touch everyone to bring them into and back out of timestop and they'll be fine.
I think that would be a bit too easy of an out for us, for it to be feasible.

Maybe we want to form a giant jumping platform and then just lower everyone down safely? Maybe Kyouko could do that chain thing she does and catch everyone?

We need best girl's chains. We shall leash together a harness and boost jump the magical girls who helped us fight Walpurgisnact.

Screw the audience. They just sat there and watched while we were fighting for our lives!

This is different. The audience in the theatre were just dummies.
These is is most to all of the people in the city who were trapped in it outside the stage.

We aint letting them die. We'll save them all, or failing that, as many as we can.

More seriously, I think something involving "summoned" platforms is going to be part of our best bet.

The issue then becomes, how the hell do we get everyone that was still in the city on such platforms, and how are we going to afford that much magic usage.

Also, if we let the city impact at terminal velocity (even if we rescue the people), that is likely to create a BIG boom. How big, IDK, but we don't want to be anywhere near it when it happens...

I expect Kyoko or Homura calling us out if we start thinking about saving the civilians scattered around the city. We could save everyone thus far, but now that we don't have much time and inaction is no less than fatal for everyone? Fat chance.

Well, there is a very high chance we won't be able to save everyone, but can we save those we can?

An entire city dying seems like something that would drive Madoka to contract, so we would be screwed anyways.

Dude, they were dummies, not flesh-and-bone people.

Also, clock's ticking, do you think we have time to save them? Sayaka may be a paladin, but she's not stupid. Not this Sayaka.

I wasn´t thinking in the audience, but most of the city´s population were trapped in the flotaing city.

Maybe if we catch Walmart´s seed we may have enough cleanses to evacuate them with timestops.

[x] Boost to Homura and grab her.
-[x] Tell her to stop time.
--[x] Boost over to everyone and have Homura shove them in her shield. Prioritize allies.
[x] Feed Homura seeds as necessary. When you get down to the last seed, unfreeze time and escape, whether there are civilians left or not.
[x] Boost away from the point of impact.
[x] Use boost jumps to land safely.

*sigh* vote for it if you wish. I'll go for whatever take us and our friends out of there so at least we'll be alive to tell Madoka we tried to save everyone.

Tentative plan

[x] Try to find Walmart´s seed.
[x] Boost to Homura and grab her.
-[x] Tell her to stop time.
--[x] Boost over to everyone and have Homura shove them in her shield. Prioritize allies.
---[x] Collect all the seeds you can from your allies. Left them with at leat one full seed.
[x] Feed Homura seeds as necessary. When you get down to the last seed, unfreeze time and escape, whether there are civilians left or not.
[x] Boost away from the point of impact.
[x] Use boost jumps to land safely.

Fuck it. I know there is a way out due to the fact Moid hasn't handed us a bad end yet, but I can't see any way for us to avoid one (either by us dying, us witching out due to letting most of a cities populace die, or Madoka contracting due to most of a cities populace's dying). This is too big of a problem for me...

Yea, sitting this one out and letting those who are better questers than me handle this...
