No, just a really inappropriate response to the situation at hand. I wanted to see if we could annoy the witch into showing itself by being irritatingly casual in its barrier.

You bring your fist back and, immediately, you launch a fireball with a huge, powerful punch. The punch seemingly does nothing to the bucket...before the part that the fireball hit glows red. Suddenly, molten rock engulfs the bucket, before it disintegrates and falls away from its rail.

The bucket hits another one, before that one disintegrates, falls, and hits another one, before it falls away and hits another one.

And then that one hits two.

Another hits three...and thankfully, those fall so far away as to be irrelevant.

"...Whoops." You mutter.

'Is that seriously all you can say?!' Ako sputters, while Yuri's eyes just dart around nervously.

Then, you hear an echoing groan.

[OPTION SELECT]​

[] Fists up.

[] Punch another bucket.

[] Write-in what to do.

"Okay." You rub your fists together. "We need to figure out where the fuck the witch is." You look around on the bucket you're on, as the groaning grows louder. Suddenly, there's a sound of clanging steel and machinery, followed by silence.

Suddenly, out of the corner of your eye, you see some smoke. It's a huge, black pillar, one that drifts lazily by the bucket you're standing on. You all take a step back, as the witch slowly rises into your view. Several legs shoot past your vision and into the distance, followed by a distant clang as many molten, metal eyes stare at you. Smoke is billowing out of a massive hole in the witch's "head", and the legs of it don't seem to be connected to anything on the witch itself.

You can feel the heat washing over your body as you, Ako and Yuri just stare at the monster.



And then Yuri shoots at the witch with a panicked expression. A single cannonball crashes into the central eye, sending molten metal flying out of it. The witch itself doesn't seem to react, as it instead opts to just stare at you.

It moves a little closer, just to examine the three of you.

-[] Open skull. (???)
-[] One of the eyes. (???)
-[] One of the legs. (???)

[] Run.

[] Coordinate attack.
-[] Write-in.
 
Considering it didn't react at all to getting shot in the eye, I've got the sneaking suspicion that those aren't weak points. Trying to impale the head might still work, though. Just the lack of reaction to the eyeshot has me suspicious of the molten metal pits in the head.
 
Witch's name is "Anna", according to the archaic rune's alphabet.

A creature made with lots of pipes, eyes filled with fire/lava, and what it seems like a big cauldron on top of its "center"?

-[x] Tear off one of the legs and throw it like a javelin at one of the Witch's eyes.
-[x] Have Ako help you with that.
-[x] have Yuri keep shooting at its "eyes".
[x] Pay attention on how the witch reacts to your offensive. If it does something funny, prepare to dodge.

Butchering Ugo's vote. I think this is basically attempting to go micro on this fight, but if the option happens... Well, I'll take it.

Any suggestions on how to improve it?

We'll have to watch out of that as well. Even if it doesn't "react". I prefer to blind it somehow.

This thing looks like its insides are full of lava. I'm worried that tearing off its limb will bathe Akane in lava or something. That said there's not much Akane do here that's NOT terribly risky. Because this thing looks like its filled with lava and Akane punches things.

Beyond that, it's a bit too early to tell anything about this witch.
