'Just a bit.' Ako says. 'I mean...fuck. You punched that alarm clock good.'

Yuri nods. 'I-it was just one hit.'

"Yeah, well...it was weak." You say. "If it were stronger, I'd probably be missing an arm or something."

You, Ako and Yuri enter another barrier, and immediately, you almost step in a puddle of molten slag. You jump at the sudden heat, as you clench your teeth and raise your gauntlets.

I refuse to believe that option is there as anything other than a trap.

The lava and fire likely means that Akane's Fire related attacks are going to be not as effective as normal. That said, Yuri does have that cannon so ranged attacks should be covered. Still, The girls are probably going to have to be patched up by Sayaka after this. Lava doesn't really fuck around.

"Watch your step." You say as you keep your feet away from any other pools of lava.

All around is an iron refinery. Enormous buckets of molten metal roll about above you, stretching for what seems like infinity above you. You take a step forwards, and immediately the platform that you're on starts to move. You realize that you're on the side of one of these buckets; they seem to have their own gravitational pull.

"What the..." You murmur.

You all stay on one of the buckets, before you take a flying leap to another bucket. You land without trouble, before Ako and Yuri follow.

'This is weird.'

'Just a little?' Yuri says back.

"I'd say it's really fucking weird." You mutter. You grind your fists together.

The buckets don't seem to have a coherent order to them as they move through the barrier. Some hang upside-down, while others are sideways or, in the case of yours, just twisting wildly on the conveyor.

This barrier doesn't seem to have a coherent pattern to it.

If the bee-witch was any indication, the buckets might contain the witch, but let's not punch the thing we're standing on.
