I still think we need to have our talk with Madoka. Not sure what time it is, but it still seemed relatively early? More chatty chat here isn't really going anywhere.

[X] Call Homura. Is she willing to come clean and discuss the witchbomb with Madoka?
[X] If so, call Madoka. We need to talk; can we meet up somewhere?
 
I'm not sure we could get a "witchbomb Madoka" vote through, as Homura would never agree to it (I seem to remember she said that when Madoka finds out about that she just contracts to kill Wally then commits suicide). OOC, however, the problem is that if Madoka is both totally informed and uncontracted by the time we fight Walpurgis she could become Madokami and render the whole story moot.

Oh, well, that's just great. So if we inform her she might go Madokami, if we don't inform her she might end up contracting anyway, and whose idea was it to make teenage girls into demigods on bomb timers?

On a more serious note, I agree with talking to Homura. We should get some form of strategy down.

Informing her will not help. What it will do is make her feel worse and more like she Has To Do Something. Madoka is not going to refuse to make a wish out of mere self-interest. What happens if her soul gem turns black is completely irrelevant to her decision. Homura has told her in the past, and she just killed herself to keep from witching.

The angle we've been pushing with Madoka is that she helps us without contracting and that the people around her don't want her to contract. Appeal to the wellbeing of others. It's the best way to approach someone as unselfish as Madoka.

Also, we haven't spoken to her since we dropped the Walpurgisnacht evacuation on her parents. The best way to convince her that we don't trust her is to try a new approach to keeping her from contracting out of the blue.

We do have an approach, we've been pretty consistent about it through the entire quest. Just because we've been busy the last few days doesn't mean that our actions through the rest of the month have disappeared.

Witchbombing her remains a bad idea, but she is our friend.

We should also call Hitomi.
 
While talking with Madoka should sure as hell happen ASAP, I feel doing this on the phone will backfire someway. This seems like something that should be done in person to me...
