The last time we talked to Madoka was yesterday when we told her parents about magical girls.
As far as I remember we didn't even directly tell Madoka about the new Tokyo Girls.
She only knows about them if Homura told her.

I just read through the meeting. Does Madoka know about the Witching Out part of this? Or is it just her parents they didn't tell?

This isn't PMAS or even post-series. A contract is a delayed death sentence and nothing Madoka wishes for can change that short of her exact wish.

More importantly, unless Sayaka's grief spiraling, she wouldn't suggest that.

You guys seem to be under the impression that I was seriously suggesting we do that. Instead of, you know, pointing out that even if it could logically work, Moid would not allow for it to work (for various, understandable reasons), so the idea could never be seriously considered anyway.

I thought the Cherno Alpha bit made the lack of seriousness obvious, but...

EDIT: Sounds like Madoka was...in the middle of something...with Homura. Might want to keep the conversation short and apologize for interrupting or something.

EDIT 2: Congrats, SV! You achieved all objectives for the day without a net loss of vital resources or letting anyone fatally grief-spiral!

I feel like, if we can get through 24 hours IC without anything majorly bad happening, something majorly bad will happen the next day.

Then again, with anything involving Kyubey being his canon self, I usually wanna curl into a ball and rock back'n'forth while pretending it isn't happening. Unless his plans are getting raped, but that's rare in itself.

On the other end, Madoka's quiet. She doesn't say anything for several seconds, before she talks again. '...I'm sorry.'

'...I still feel...horrible.' She says. '...I still...' She stops herself before she says anything else. 'Nothing. It's nothing.'

'Sorry we didn't call sooner.' You say.

'No...no it's okay. You had something to do, right?'

'Yeah.' You smile thinly. '...Today sucked, but everything's more or less okay now...'

'That's good.' She says, weakly.

Ah. Good to see Madoka's Martyr Complex is still there. The Martyr Complex that she can damn well fulfill at anytime by contracting, but won't because everyone she knows is telling her it's a bad idea. Nothing like being stuck in a perpetual loop of "I can help ALL THE THINGS!" and "But if I do, things go to hell and everyone's telling me not to."

More seriously though, I'm rather at a loss of what to say here. Swap date stories? Poke fun at Homura? Personally, I want to know what the situation is between Sayaka and Hitomi since the whole conversation happened off screen. But since Sayaka was there for it, it's really odd to ask about it IC.

Telling her about the new girls and telling her everything flat-out is a bit of a bad call, even though the intent is the right one.
