Tomo's mom breaks. She stops talking, and instead, she just breaks. Her dad sits on the couch in disbelief, still processing, before he buries his face in his hands.
"I-I could have...I s-should have...oh my god."

She's just watching her parents cry. Out of all of them, she looks the most lost. She's not sobbing, she's not miserable again...she's just scared and confused. "Tomo..."
"I-I..." She gulps. "...What did you do with your..."
"It was an accident." You say. "...My mom found out on accident."
"What?" Tomo turns.
"I saw her leaving a witch's barrier." Your mom murmurs. "...It wasn't that long ago, either."
