The Tomo family bloodline doesn't appear to have nice, rational reactions. I fear without interference, that they may do something stupid (mostly worried about Tomomom).

You take a step forwards. "It's true. All of it." You say. "...And she needs your help."

"I-I..." She shakes her head. "Sh-she..."

"And you can help her by listening to her for once." You say.

"I-I can't believe this. I c-can't believe any of this." She's trying to talk, but it's coming out as a series of sobs. "I-I'm-"

Her dad just slumps down. "...I guess I did work a little too much." He sits down on the nearby couch, defeated. He laughs bitterly. "...Good job, me."

Let us not talk to Tomo. Her talking to her parents or them talking to her could be part of letting it sink in.

I honestly don't know what we could do here, they have every reason to feel like shit, but straight-up despair won't help us. I only hope they're the "I have to help fix this" kind of regretful, not the lashing out kind.
