If we are going to be stupid lucky and want to be the wealthiest person in the world, I think learning to manage and sell (the product of) our heaven defying luck would be a great avenue to pursue.

Surprised more people didn't go for gambling since you have heavenly luck.
Also, by the way, CQC stands for close-quarters combat in case anyone didn't realise.

We`ll develop a gambling addiction later.

TBH, fishing for some kind of physical cultivation method, because leaning hard into body cultivation sounds like it'd be pretty fun.

Doubly so as it's a route in genre that tends to be 'You need to be a lunatic or absurdly talented to get away with this" with the caveat of "But if you do nail it, you're going to beat the snot out of everyone on the same level as you, because unlike them, you can actually take an unmitigated hit without exploding into a spray of blood, and that also means all of your other moves are that much more effective too."

After finishing breakfast Xiao Fang and Lady Qi left the dining hall and made their way over to the Manor Library.

It was massive with 3 floors and held over 10,000 books, scrolls and treatises.

Grand marble column's inscribed with images of swirling blazes held up the egg-shaped dome that made up the roof.

The walls were lined with massive dark browns shelves that were utterly dust-free, as they were cleaned regularly.

Patriarch Xingwei was an avid collector of books and made sure the library was well cared for.

Over in a small corner was the collection of law and business books Xiao Fang had gathered over the last few years.

Next to it was a shelf full of scrolls the two had found useful for study over the years.

Although Lady Qi was practically royalty, she still studied very hard, as looking up to her father, a renowned Scholar.

Xiao Fang had been dragged into studying as well but has soon found herself enjoying learning about the Art of War and textbooks documenting age-old empires and battles.

The two arrived at a large table covered with various half-read texts. Xiao Fang pulled out Lady Qi's chair as well proper of a servant before sitting down herself.

"So, what was it?" Xiao Fang questioned.

"Whatever do you mean?" Lady Qi responded.

"Cut the shit you know what I meant. What was that event I just agreed to go to?"

Lady Qi winced when she heard Xiao Fang's rough language.
"Handmaiden Fang, remember to speak properly, like a lady," Lady Qi admonished.

Xiao Fang stared blankly at her, not saying a single word. Eventually, Ladi Qi coughed and continued.
"Anyways, I have been invited to the birthday of Eastern Duke's son Chang Chen. I was allowed to bring a servant with me and selected you."

Xiao Fang groaned. "Chang Chen, isn't he that insane guy who killed a servant using a table leg because her dress wasn't properly ironed?"

As the personal handmaiden of Lady Qi Xiao Fang was often forced to undergo tortur-Attend important ceremonies and political events critical to the continued future of Flamecloud Island.

She had no idea how to interact with stuffy noble brats and her inhuman features meant she was either gawked at like a circus oddity or avoided like a freak.

One of the only noble's whose name she remembered, if only due to his . . . oddities, was Chang Chen.

He was the son of the Eastern Duke and would fly off the handle at the most random of things before suddenly calming down as if nothing had happened.

This bi-polar behaviour had earned him the nickname Crazy Chen

"There is no goddamn way I'm going to a party hosted by Chang Chen, what if I braid my hair the wrong way and he flips out and murders me with a fork?"

Lady Qi sighed. "The esteemed Young Duke will not murder you with a fork Handmaiden Fang, also it's too late. You already agreed. What would I tell mother? Don't worry. You'll be fine. Just enjoy yourself, mingle, make friends."

Mingling with stuffy young nobles seemed like the farthest thing from fun Xiao Fang could imagine, but she sighed and nodded.

Lady Qi seemed pretty set on her going.

Although she was not afraid to voice her opinions, she knew not to push things too far.

She got plenty of leeways thanks to being close friends with Lady Qi but at the end of the day she was still a slave and if she disobeyed her masters she could receive anything from 30 canings to execution.

It was set. She was going to the fucking party.

Over the last 4 years, Xiao Fang has been going to a dojo. What did she specialize in?

This plan suggests going all in on Social aspects of the party, trying to make the best possible impression, as well as not die.
To facilitate the whole 'not dying' bit, I choose to focus on Evasive CQC, as it is a party, and hitting back a noble cultivator is a bad idea.
Oh, also- we wouldn't want to mar her beautiful face, now would we?

Thinking make up and hair rather than the dress, to be presentable without too much effort and then just studying for the two other actions. If we're really worried I'd say spending today on etiquette too.

This works

Evasive CQC doesn't help in the long run, and this fundamentally shifts our focus in the interests of surviving a single encounter.

What has been portrayed is the guy we're approaching is literally a lunatic who occasionally goes absolutely berserk for little reason and calms down again just as quickly. The real risks are that he just steals us if we impress him too much.

What we actually want to do is to do whatever we can to not be noticed. And that means let's not stack up as many modifiers as we can get because an amazing result would be just as bad as a negative one in this case.

I'd say Evasive CQC has plenty of potential, both thematically and practically.
A beautiful general/schemer, commanding from heavens, untouchable by earth's filth.
A focus on mobility could make her a Ling Qi sort of character, except more charismatic. Instead of dancing around her foes while debuffing them, she can bolster the morale of her own troops.

Thank goodness she's already property of someone else, then. He likes her too much? He'd have to either haggle or smash another cultivator's face.
Far better than liking her too little. That's where he forks her to death.

And I think not being noticed is not something that's on the table:
She had no idea how to interact with stuffy noble brats and her inhuman features meant she was either gawked at like a circus oddity or avoided like a freak.
That ship sailed at chargen, unless you wish for a write-in to somehow hide her inhuman features.

I Really don't like the idea of leaning directly into one factor of the starting build at the expense of all others.
