It make us look green wich may help avoid us swamp thing and poison ivy atention,it's also a secondary source of electricty if a power cut happen that will be less easy to destroy than the generator room
Ah yes. Bulldozing the swamp to put in wind turbines to avoid pissing off the crazed environmentalist and the plant elemental.

Sans memes, Swamp Thing doesnt step in for just regular ass construction. Otherwise civilization could never have taken hold. And Poison Ivy isnt gonna attack us unless we bulldoze something endangered.

I'll go right ahead and say I have some biases against wind farms. But there really doesn't seem to be much actual benefit to building them.

I want to do both projects just for energy and to stop people from trying to assassinate our character. There doesn't seem to be anything else that deals with the latter.

fair point, tough bulldozing for wind turbine ?,don't you just put a big concrete cube with big pillar under ?

eddit,or just a big metal platform over big pillars ?
Nope. You also need enough stable land to truck in the pillars, blades and generator. The cranes to lift them, and hold them while they're being secured. And, if even the smallest detail is missed, it becomes a ticking time bomb that'll make a bigger mess than building them. On top of Digging deep to lay concrete and metal foundations on, or connected to, bedrock. In short. You destroy nearly as much land per "wind farm" as you do mining coal for power plants.

I mean, unless we can entice Superman to do some civil engineering work to place them. Only then would it likely not impact the environment as egregiously.

Let's get these two done so our perimeter in general is more secure. Power independent of the rest of the grid is important in a prison in Gotham and we want to be able to have an eye kept on all of our territory just to make sure we're as secure as we can be.

Protective custody can wait a little Bit when we can make sure there are no escapes and a resistance to black outs.

Wind turbines have different types. There's the more commonly thought of horizontal type that likely everyone knows about and first comes to mind when thinking wind turbine, should mention this is basically axis type. But there's also a vertical type that could be placed on rooftops let alone placing them in cities in general. Their refered to as VAWT and HAWT.

Also there's more then one way to support a wind turbine. Both grounded and floating also have a variety of

Turn 9
[X] Protective Custody
[X] Watch Towers

You return from you…. Adventure for a lack of a better term with two new mandates.

The first is to establish a Protective Custody wing.

Second is to add some watch towers for extra security.

And of course.

You have to do paperwork.

Lovely paperwork.

So lovely it makes you want to cry.

Buildings
1st Block: The largest of the old facilities buildings 1st blocks cells are of moderate security, comfortability, and conditions, roughly 100 prisoners can be found here.
2nd Block: Like the 1st block but this building holds 50 prisoners instead of 100.
Block Walls: A set of walls that surround the two blocks, they have enough room on top for 3 people to walk shoulder to shoulder without issue.
Security Center: A shared Guard barracks, armory, and monitoring station that performs its role well enough for the initial state of the prison. 1/1 Guard Capacity.
Guard Barracks: A dedicated Barracks for the guards increasing the amount the prison can support. (2/2 Additional Guards).
Wardens Office: Your office, locked up when you aren't present and you have the only way it… being the building itself is just so convenient in many ways.
Cafeteria: A simple cafeteria with a kitchen to feed it… it mostly serves gruel these days however.
Yard: A prison yard…. It's a yard where the prisoners can go to enjoy the nice swampy atmosphere!
Medical Wing: The prison's moderately sized medical facility, the doctors here are nothing if not hard working due to the nature of the swamp surrounding the prison.
Kennel: A place where the guard dogs live, it is well furnished and has plenty of space. ¼ Dog Capacity.

Dividing Walls (X2): A double layered set of dividing walls keeping the minimum security wing separate from the rest of the prison.

Minimum Security Wing
Dormitory: A communal living system that on average is far more comfortable than the cells, it does have lighter security however.
2nd Dorm: A secondary dorm for the minimum security wing.
Cafeteria: A food consumption place for the minimum security prisoners.
Yard: The minimum security yard, currently the same as the normal one in every way including mosquito population.

Prisoner Menu (+2 Morale)
Bacon: An American Classic favored by your prisoners especially when put in combination with Eggs during the morning.
Eggs: Another part of the American classic breakfast.
Toast: This also covers bread but hey toast is toast.
Carrots: A relatively healthy if less popular food.
Apples: Nice and crunchy they don't keep the doctor away but they need to make it less likely that you'll need to visit a doctor.
Mac and Cheese: Oddly enough some of the prisoners like the stuff.
Burgers: An American favorite, getting all of the ingredients to make halfway decent burgers in house will be a little more difficult but a good deal of the prisoners will appreciate it regardless of how healthy it is.
Broccoli: It's healthy and a lot of people don't like eating it.

Makeshift Storage: Where you keep the old junk.
Old Beds: Old crusty beds with papers on the nature dark magic stuffed into them for extra fluff the fact the no one is sleeping on these things anymore makes you very happy.

Current Grants (2): 0 Slots open.

[ ] Protective Custody: Some Criminals are more at risk from their fellow lawbreakers than anything else, the city wants to offload some of these into your prisome. You'd better get started.
Initial Reward: Protective Custody Buildings blueprints.
Objectives: Build a protective custody wing with one set of walls and one 'Protective Custody' housing. A Cafeteria can also be build as an optional objective.
Completion: 40 Funding, 20 Political Support.

[ ] Watch Towers: Another suggestion from the 'tough on crime' boys the idea is simple… build some watch towers along the swamp to make escape harder.
Initial Reward 20 Funding.
Objectives: Build at least 12 Watch Towers.
Completion: 10 Funding, 20 Political Support, advanced watchtower blueprint.

Another week in Gotham another Joker Gas bombing.

Thank goodness Batman managed to distribute the antidote fast enough to keep fatalities to a minimum.

Oh and more dead Deadshot clones have been found.

Because of course they have.

Resources
Funding: 75 Units
Political Support: 30 Units
Time Per Turn: 20 Units

Actions (You may take 2)
[ ] Get some better Food: Honestly the gruel you've been forced to feed the prisoners is terrible and you're ashamed at having to resort to that. Costs, 1 Initial funding opens up menu expansion sub turn.
[ ] Grants: You are a bit low on funding, seeking out Grants should let you get a bit more income… and hopefully some political support as well. 10 Time Units. Starts sub turn.
[ ] Seek out Funding: A pain in any situation… but you are low right now. Trade 1 political support for 2 funding. (2/2)
[ ] Guard Barracks: You should get on building another guard barracks. 5 Funding.
[ ] New Dorm: A shared living space capable of housing a good deal of prisoners under relatively pleasant conditions. 10 Funding.
[ ] Cellblock: The Stereotypical prison housing. 5 Funding.
[ ] Dividing Walls: These walls will serve to cordon off parts of your prison from one another making unauthorized transportation from one place to another within the Prison much harder. 5 Funding per layer.
[ ] Prison Yard: A yard, perfect for prisoners to do yard stuff in. 2 Funding.
[ ] Cafeteria: A place for the prisoners to eat the food they desire… or that they don't desire depending on circumstances. 10 Funding.
[ ] Additional Dog Kennel: Dogs are good at finding contraband among other problems, you should get another kennel build and put in the effort to get some. 4 Funding.
[ ] Watchtower: You should build a watchtower to help your guards keep an eye on the prison. 2 Funding.
[ ] Recruit some additional Guards: It will take some time and may not have as much in raw numbers, but you should recruit some more guards now that you have the lodging. 2 Funding, 10 Time Units.
[ ] Practice Your magic: It's been a long time since you've tried to expand your magic abilities… Now is as good a time as any. 5 Time Units to start.
[ ] Protective Custody Cell Block: a Cell Block build with plenty of distances in between it's cells and more secure construction, these days one needs to be prepared for a would be assassin to try and blow up the entire building after all. 10 Funding.
[ ] Protective Checkpoints: Built into an existing dividing wall these checkpoints make it much harder for unauthorized personnel to enter the protective custody wing of the prison.. 5 Funding.
[ ] Protective Custody Housing Unit: A miniature house like structure that can house one to two prisoners in a very secure environment.
[ ] Protective Custody Dorm: A Fortified Dorm for prisoners in Protective Custody, only prisoners with compatible personalities with each other are assigned to these dorms.

Hey here is some "possible action"
-place small farms, there are a few crops that benefic from swampy areas (like cabbage, carrots, rice, etc) could be usefull for those prisioners that enjoy the 'outdoors' (as in nature) and allow them to make money and gets unsold croops as ingredients for the cooks)
