Wait, we're using different formulas.

You're using STR + (Weapon Skill + Weapon Rank/2)
I'm using STR + (Weapon Skill + Weapon Rank)/2

I think in this case I am the one who is correct.
You two are both using the same formula. Illusion just wrote it wrong on his post. Tie, so now your turn is over Saber and now it's Beowulf's turn. Roll movement attack @Illusion and roll AGI to try to avoid @Nanimani.

EDIT: Beowulf can choose a target, so don't roll yet. Feel free to try and murder me @Illusion.

No we're not. I halved my Swordsmanship and unless I've been reading it wrong, he isn't.
EDIT:  And on my fifth read, I finally do math. I'm a fucking idiot.

Well, whether I try to interrupt Illusion from going past me to the summoner or dodging, it's Agility. We're engaged, so Shukuchi essentially won't apply if he attacks me, so I'll roll Agility.
Does Eye of the Mind apply here?
Nanimani threw 4 6-faced dice. Reason: Coward! Total: 15
4 4 1 1 4 4 6 6

I should've realized by my third read.
Not that you didn't, but I definitely share the blame.
Yeah we did the same formula, I halved my swordsmanship + NP by 2 getting 7. I did the right formula I just wrote it wrong.
Urgh, not gonna get through unless I either use Coat of Oaths, Mumyou Sandan-Zuki, or both.

Well, not like it takes time to apply NPs. It's a Free Action as long as it's your turn. I'm gonna have to do that.

On the bright side, it should be even harder for you to get through A++ Agility and A Eye of the Mind, so that's good.

You know what I'm just gonna attack Nani. Since this is a new page I will put most of my rolls in this post.

Edit: Movement- 8 +(8+6)/2 -1 =14
Edit: Attack- 6 + (8+6)/2 - 2 = 11
Illusion threw 4 6-faced dice. Reason: Movement attack Total: 15
3 3 2 2 6 6 4 4
Illusion threw 4 6-faced dice. Reason: Attack vs. dodging Total: 10
1 1 1 1 4 4 4 4

So, looking at the combat mechanics, this is 12 + (9)/2 = 16

Urgh, only one more than my average block. This is gonna be difficult.
Still, I dodge it. Does that mean it's my turn, then?
EDIT: Ah, no, it's Puppet Summoner's turn.

Are you really telling me Eye of the Mind doesn't count, there?

I haven't attacked you yet. We are still in the movement phase. I just moved towards you and now I will make my attack depending on whether you want to dodge or block.

Edit: wait a second, I'm confused. So does my movement roll go into the attacking phase?

Oh.
I don't understand the movement phase, then. We're in melee range. There is no need to move closer; you're already there.

The movement phase is supposed to give you a chance to get out of my range before I can attack. If you succeed my turn just ends. If I succeed I get to perform an attack. At least that is my understanding of it.
