Haha yes I was doing the whole 'wait till someone else posts first' bit. Mostly cause it seems I'm not very good at going first in god games. Though I do want to create a Lifestream for Genesis and I have a few other ideas for the world.

Also do we have one world or the universe?

Feel free to dip your toes in if you want, I'm more than willing to help you through the process. No one is going to get mad at you for getting it wrong. :)

As an example, you could create a massive ocean, with various special qualities if you wanted to, as one domain action, then fill that ocean with life, as another domain action.

Of course the ocean is just kind of going to be hanging around in the void, unless you design it in some specific way, but it'll work fine. Yay for god-logic!

I'll allow more than one world/planet to exist at the same time, but this game isn't intended to be anything beyond the solar system level.

Is anyone going to do anything, or are they waiting for other people to do stuff first? I was afraid of this. :V
I have a plan for what I want to do, but I need a world to do it on first :p

Also, just found out my car got stolen along with several hundred dollars worth of college books, so not really in the mood to write at the moment.....

Do you want us to write in-character or just state things as clearly as possible?

Murhatar, Harbinger of Sorrow
Name: Murhatar
Domain(s): Pain, disease, anguish
Appearance:
Personality: Misery loves company. The universe is a sick and twisted place. The highest are brought low and all end their days in blood, pain, piss and shit. Know this. Embrace it. There are no good endings, only varying degrees of humiliation, sorrow and regret.

Working on my post now. I'm creating pretty much a water sphere around the core of fire.

And then I'll seed life into the ocean. I can create a Lifestream right?

I honestly not sure how much actions that post of mine was lol. Well, let's just it call one domain action (Creation|Start|Sky) and one generic action (Pester|Brother|Make Things Already So I Can Have Fun) :V

Solomon, Insane Machinery of Order
Name: Solomon Sakil
Domains: Time, Machines, and Order.
Appearance:
Personality: A somewhat neurotic and punctual genderless being. He cannot abide lateness and abhors those who don't follow the rules. He's obsessed with keeping the timeline stable due to his powers and is likely to murder or neutralize anyone who tries to destabilize it, even unwittingly. Willing to deal with organic life, but preferring to deal with machines, he views organic flesh as a weak vessel for the soul and treats most flesh beings or those who appear as such with some measure of disgust. Excess, especially of the gluttonous or lustful variety, is an enormous pet peeve. He does enjoy the beauty of the natural world, at least, the landscapes and such. ("It really improves the beauty of a coastline when you can see it erode and change over the thousands of years that it exists.").

First of all, that's all great you guys. Good work! Including Zeebat! :V

Writing up an update with action expenditures so people know if they can still do things.

Just one or two things:

Try to avoid doing two things from two different domains with one domain action if they're not closely linked together in the action, especially after the Genesis phase. You're allowed to fuse things from two domains into one action (say a god of rain and plague creating rainclouds of disease), but not two do unrelated things (say god of grass and lightning creating plains of grass and lightningballs in the sky with one domain action)

LET THIS BE THE CENTER TO GIVE WARMTH AND VISION TO ALL AROUND. BUT ONLY FOR PART OF CREATION AT ANY TIME, FOR THEY MUST STILL WITHSTAND AND FACE THE DARK.
What exactly do you mean by this? Is there some limits to the sun and its functioning?

Hey, @Demonic Spoon, have you gotten the chance to check out my character yet?
Writing out the IC thread stuff is a higher priority at the moment, but since you asked, what are you planning to do with the Time domain? I'm not planning to include any threats to timeline stability in the game, so the entire basis of your character may need to be reworked.

I don't intrinsically have a problem with the character concept, but I'm doubtful about you doing anything.

So what does the world look like at the moment anyway?

What he does is he stops any sort of time travel. Considering that he's already stopped most of it, and he can't use it without breaking his own rules, he'll just be wary for anyone who even looks like they could attempt to do it. It's essentially just another factor in his paranoia and neurotic behavior, for the purpose of the game. As for what he does with the time domain is that he simply alters the way it flows? Essentially, he can warp it, but he can't travel in it. He can slow it down, speed it up, but only to the extent that it can't be time travel. He won't speed someone up so much that they'll die and he won't slow someone down to essentially put them in stasis. He's pretty much carefully measured out how much he can and can't do. He can also use it on his machines and such.

If you want to have your god be paranoid about a non-existent threat, I'm willing to roll with that. Time flow alteration is acceptable. That said, not all of Time will need to be destroyed for you to lose the Time domain, just all things that precisely measure time.

That works. To clarify, he does keep a masterwork clock that he made on his hand. It's how he ensures that he's always perfectly punctual.

The gods themselves don't count to determining whether their domains are present in Creation. A god made of fire will not count as fire for purposes of losing his Fire domain. You are the projection of your domain if you will, not the foundation.
So what does the world look like at the moment anyway?
Like a dyson sphere made of water orbiting a larger sun alongside another planet which itself has several ringworlds?
