Well, i figure can cover a lot things from standard exploration of landscape to exploration natural phenomenon and laws (science, in another word) to exploration of self (going on a self-searching quest, studying new skill, etc) and so forth

I mean, from an conventional standpoint, you should probably go first, to build the earthly foundation for the rest of the world.
I'd like to take a moment to mention that this is by no means required though, I'm completely open to alternate world configurations, where dirt and stone may or may not play a large role (a world-sea, everyone lives inside a gigantic dragon-planet, etc.)
