Distance Learning for fun and profit...

Anyway, I have to wonder how deep into this particular rabbit hole that those two are going to go. They're already aware that there's something different about Taylor. I'm not expecting them to be brought into the full breadth of Taylor's influence, but I hope that they get to see at least a bit more. If only for the sheer disbelief that will be generated.
I'm kinda curious if Taylor will bring them in from the other direction instead.
Her Shard investigations and Endbringer usurpation specifically.

...

Oh, and the fact that she has Admin access to (most? all?) parahuman powers.

Probably won't happen, but still fun to think about.

She's a lawyer, she should be able to deal with tax documents. Doesent mean it will be enjoyable, but its doable. Which makes it better because then you can do it again. :)

Counter: simply being a lawyer does not make one an accountant. Because only an accountant would be able to close all the loopholes in a tax document.

Taylor set the FBI on Carol this is going to be amazing.
Yes, it be amazing. I hope it is worth the wait because I have been waiting for this to happen for a while.

So… how long before RCB decides that, as the daughter of the (publicly listed) CEO of GravTec, Taylor would make a good kidnap target/leverage? As in, "I have your daughter, tell me who is behind all your so-called 'inventions' or else."
[/QUOTE]
That fallout from such an event would be hazardous to all those who are close to RCB. I hope that this is the direction that the Pi Man will take the story in.

Cue the following:
  • Taylor creating something for escape/making a beacon summoning help to her exact location.
  • RCB noticing that Taylor is gone.
  • RCB protest that it is tinkertech (either deniable op and found Taylor with the gadget or saw her make one) and should be under PRT jurisdiction.
  • RCB gets slapped in the face by the government.

Awww... Do not persecute the Lactose Intolerant.
It could also be that he needs the extra sugar in the Coke due to his zapping around like a hyperactive light particle. (Or he tried the milk in the fridge and it had gone off... had to choose between coke, water, and orange juice. [eww])
True evil is serving mint chocolate with orange juice.

I really hope someone makes it onto Taylors personal shitlist at some point, because i feel the US government will be the least of their problems.
Though there are few people who are both skilled an stupid enough to make it onto said list. Maybe Becca and/or Saint. Sophia should be sitting in juvey right now as she probably never got the Barnes' character witness to keep her out.

Taylor's nuclear option starts with asking QA to help out ... and continues with supplying suggestions what could be done.

Taylor: Miniature subspace transceiver and quantum data buffer complete. O/S efficiency patch update across alien network proceeding as planned. Let's have a look and see what we've got.
Shardnet: Our new anthem

Imagine, Endbringers suddenly appear and then stuck a team pose.
But who's Pretty(Simurgh), who's Dumb(Behemoth) and who's with cheap gimmick(Leviathan)?

Not just that. but she called them in with a pre-made plan just for this situation, one that is obviously not the only plan that is prepared.

Taylor Hebert, International Woman of Mystery SCIENCE!

I can just see that conversation....

"So the FBI paid a visit to our mom."
"They did? Imagine that."
"They wanted to talk to mom about her treatment of Amy. After you made that call on that brick you call a phone."
"Sounds serious. And don't diss the phone. It has amazing battery life."
"And the FBI on speed dial. Just who are you, Taylor?"
"Well, I could tell you but then I'd have to-"
"Kill us?"
"What? No, silly. I'd have to have you fill out these forms."
"That's a lot of paper."
"In triplicate."
