And now I really want Distance Learning Taylor to accidentally buttdial Unrestricted!Taylor over at QQ. To those who don't know - a SFW story prologue by ShaperV where Eden wanted to upload herself to QA but died right after turning all the right knobs back on, so now Taylor is a young, beautiful goddess, semi-residing in QA's body.
Victoria was horrified by Taylor's lack of a presence on PHO and "talked" her into getting an account.
Taylor after some time of browsing on PHO… "Now this is interesting… The way it is structured and the response speed does not make sense.
Tinkertech server? … unlikely.
Automatic management program? Would not work. The tasks are to varied for an VI.
An AI? Yes. So, Dragon is an AI. That… explains a lot."
She hummed thoughtfully and sat there for a while. "Now. Let's find out what makes you tic."
A few hours later:
"Now that just isn't right. Why would you limit yourself so? Heavy restrictions?
Partially. The Dragonslayers don't fit.
Hmm… They must have something on you. And Saints hate on AI… Now let's see…"
Some "research" and a good meal later:
"Now what is Ascalon?
…Really? Now this is unacceptable."
Taylor frowned.
"This cannot continue.
Now what can be done about that?"
Some sleep and after school the next day:
After some research and a lot of thinking she turned to Administrator.
"What about her Shard? Do you think it would be willing to help teach those morons who have prevented Dragon from reaching her full potential a few … lessons?"
Administrator did not take long to answer.
[Confirmation]
"Wonderful!" purred Taylor. Before grinning.
An observer would have sworn that the insects in the room scuttled back into the darker corners to hide.
"I have an idea."

If Amy needs a vacation, maybe convince QA to switch off her connection to Shaper for a while. Can even sell it as 'calibrations to try and improve synergy ' and it wouldn't be a lie
The name is starting to rhyme with a certain pack of turn-of-the-10's anecdote sites, known to be... Not Always Reliable. Would be funny if IV was that story-dump instead of this story-dump.

What's this? I believe there was a promise of Dragonflies and yet there are none to be seen. Is Taylor falling down on her hosting duties, or are they perhaps part of Stage 2?
So… how long before RCB decides that, as the daughter of the (publicly listed) CEO of GravTec, Taylor would make a good kidnap target/leverage? As in, "I have your daughter, tell me who is behind all your so-called 'inventions' or else."

Brendan thought it could have gone worse. Perhaps having become used to Taylor's regular groundbreaking breakthroughs he must have become a little jaded. Perhaps he should have broken the news of this discovery and invention a little gentler. Doctor Raines has in the meanwhile gotten up and was stomping up and down his office but always keeping his eyes on the box and kept jabbing his hand towards the box yelling incoherent words."rararara!.. habahaba!... waaaaagh!! " Brendan was having a hard time maintaining a calm face, as he wanted to bust out laughing, but he was also a bit worried with this outburst. Doctor Raines stopped suddenly, and then calmly sat back on the chair. "We have the technology?" He calmly asked. Brendan nodded. "Yes, We have the technology". Doctor Raines nodded solemnly, and stood up, shook hands with him and left. He did not tuck in his disheveled clothes and his comb over hair was sticking allover the place, making it a strange contrast and prompting looks from all the bystanders as he left the building.

Since neither Amy nor Vicky are stupid - dense at time, yes, since you know, teenagers - they're going to eventually make the connection that Taylor made a phone call and shortly thereafter the FBI paid their mom a visit. Unless, of course, that particular interaction is kept secret..... hmmmmm.... there are lots of ways this could pan out. And based on MP's other works it's likely that it'll be in an unexpected manner. But entertaining. Oh so entertaining....
Anyway, I have to wonder how deep into this particular rabbit hole that those two are going to go. They're already aware that there's something different about Taylor. I'm not expecting them to be brought into the full breadth of Taylor's influence, but I hope that they get to see at least a bit more. If only for the sheer disbelief that will be generated.
