Distance Learning for fun and profit...

The fun part is all they need to do is give Taylor the basics of a device dose X without any other clues to see what she comes up with to get the job done. Only if she has issues would they then need to let her look at it to get an idea of how it was done then how it can be improved.

Do not let Jack play with the GravTech projector and the stealth tech as you would soon have an invisible drone following Kinsey around playing the imperial march.

Taylor needs to focus on the most important problem identified in both universes. Designing a comfortable chair for long meetings.

Or is that the one thing beyond her?

Has it occurred to anyone else that since Taylor stored her code in the Stargate's system, the automatic update function of the gate will probably propagate across the rest of the network the next time the SGC dials out? With her hologram remote, Taylor and Earth Bet can do their own offworld exploration. And as long as she put stealth and shielding on the hologram module, it's pretty much undetectable away from the gate transition.

You know they've got her name and her DNA. They could see if there's a local-to-Stargate Taylor Hebert. Might be interesting to see what she's like.

What if Loki clones her? And actually makes a clone that won't just die fast? Or the clone studies biology and fixes herself?

I don't think Taylor wouldn't harden the data so any copies outside that particular data just turn into unreadable garbage.

A scenario to have Taylor spend time at the SGC might be that the Earth Bet intel agencies become aware of a large scale intrusion of mastered personnel in the US government. Whoever put them there did so some time ago, like sleeper agents. Having become aware of the importance of the Prime Asset, they are readying a play for all the marbles. Taylor needs to be out of the country, and look! they have a friendly NORAD to stash her in.
I note that she said she was 16, so unless she was lying to the SG team the earliest it can be is mid-June. Possibly Summer break? So send Taylor and Amy, with the mysterious red-head agent as chaperone. Possibly Lisa and Vicky depending on how you feel. The SG-verse would be stupid as all hell to reject an intern program, and perhaps the Asgard or the Tok'ra might show up.

I also note that this SG-verse is an AU from the show. These three things were not all true at the same time: Hammond being in command of the SGC, Jack O'Neil being a Colonel, and the name "ZPM" having been coined.

I've got wonder how many more miracles of Science! Taylor can bestow on Earth Bet before the limiting factor becomes the number of engineers available to work on them.

I rather imagine that within a decade or so, Earth Bet, Earth Aleph, Earth SG, and possibly some of the other high-tech worlds in the SG universe are going to end up being part of Taylor's product engineering organizations.

It won't work. The correlative update function is stored in the dialing devices. That is one of the reasons that the earth dialing computer needs to crunch numbers for every gate address before dialing it first to update for stellar drift from the last update. And also why the gate could only connect to nearby star systems like Heliopolis (where Ernest Littlefield ended up when they were trying to dial the gate manually) and Abydos. It was the explanation why dialing random combinations didn't work for the Earth gate.

True, but the data signal does go through the Stargate. Depending on what Taylor wanted to do, that might be enough. However, I think she wouldn't want that to happen - you wouldn't want the code leading to home to be distributed into uncontrolled sites across the Milky Way (or further) after taking such care to cover your tracks.

Considering Taylor was born in June 1995, and Stargate is taking place in the late 90's, any local version of Taylor would be a toddler at best. That's also assuming that the lack of Parahumans didn't butterfly her out of existence in the SG-1 timeline.

Didn't Annette and Danny meet whilst she was part of Lustrum's movement? If there's no Parahuman's, there's no Lustrum and they might never meet.

Information on your world, the aliens you've encountered, interesting technology, that type of data.

If this omake continues, could you please have Taylor help out the Asgard (if they are still around) i mean they are alients that are/where the protectors of the galaxy for a long time, i think they deserve any help they could get, plus with Taylor's disposition towards aliens like her tutors i think she would be all for this.

Then she see's their stuff and is unimpressed.

It'll be interesting to see Thor's reaction to being met by warships with advanced gravity drives and stealth systems entirely based on Earth manufacturing and materials, especially if they casually ignore Asgard tech in return. "Wait, you were stealthed? Are you sure? Shows up pretty clear on here. Turn it off and on again, maybe that'll help."
